New Series Alert: Isiphindiselo A Brand New Local Drama Produced By eMedia Investments

The new boxing drama is produced by eMedia Investments will see the return of two cast members from the cancelled soap Rhythm City such as Jamie Bartlett best known for his role as David Genaro alongside Zamani Mbatha (Suffocate's son).

Former The River and SAFTA award-winning actor, Warren Masemola has secured a supporting role on the upcoming show.

The exact date and time for Isiphindiselo hasn't been revealed as yet but according to sources the show MIGHT not be airing on e.tv but likely eExtra as mentioned earlier in the year.

The last time eExtra had a fresh local drama was back in 2017/8 with the short lived, Ambitions other than that it was either rejects or reruns of whatever was on the main channel.

My theory on eMedia Investments following MultiChoice in becoming another SABC could become a reality after all since international distributors are halting most new content for streaming services leaving less content for them to acquire.

A rerun of the Turkish drama, The Girl Named Feriha is taking up the Korean drama, Ice Adonis' timeslot in the afternoon with Two And A Half Men in the evening. Could this drama perhaps take up it's slot or better yet could Kuiertyd start an hour early.
