New Series Alert: When Love Burns And The Virgin Of The Street Coming Soon To St Novelas

With the continuous success of telenovelas, here at Insidus hope to promote brands big and small so we look to competitors that offer similar entertainment and with our hardwork spread the word of these programs.

Bringing us to St Novelas, StarSat's hub for telenovelas since the pandemic most of their attention has been spent on these programs I mean who wouldn't mind binge watching romcoms.

As seen across several outlets, St Novelas has acquired rights to the Venezuelan drama The Virgin Of The Street (La Virgen De La Calle) and Phillipine drama When Love Burns (Init Sa Magdamag).

Based on the telenovela Juana La Virgen (Jane The Virgin), The Virgin Of The Street follows Mauricio Vega, director of the magazine La verdad desperate for a son and heir, and he and his wife decide to use the services of a surrogate mother. Unfortunately, in the hospital the name of the surrogate is confused with that of Juana, a young student. Juana is artificially inseminated with Mauricio's semen. Juana starts work at "La verdad" and the two fall in love.

The series stars María Gabriela as Juana, Juan Pablo Llano as Mauricio Vega, Caridad Canelón as Azucena Pérez, Marjorie Magri as Desirée Rojas and Rosanna Zanetti as Carlota Rivas.

When Love Burns follows Tupe an aspiring doctor who gets falsely accused as being involved in the corrupt activities of his government official associated father, wrecking his relationship with Rita. Years after Tupe’s apparent disappearance, Rita finds a new love in Peterson, who credits her for becoming a changed man as he pursues political office.

The series stars Gerald Anderson as Dr. Christopher "Tupe" Salcedo, Yam Concepcion as Cong and Rita Macatangay-Alvarez as Peterson Alvarez.

The Virgin of The Street airs 30 May at 21:30 while When Love Burns airs 8 June at 20:40 on St Novelas E Plus.
