New Series Alert: Home For Summer And Battle Through The Heavens Coming Soon To eExtra, Isitha The Enemy Rolls Out On e.tv

Two new Asian dramas roll out on eExtra in the coming weeks

eExtra has been snoozefest for 5 months with a lineup of rebroadcasts including Ice Adonis, Dare To Love and Broken Angel. Now the channel is finally ready to rollout on new content for with Chinese series Battle Through The Heavens and K-drama Home For Summer.

Synopsis for Home For Summer:

Geum-Hee has been married to Joon-Ho for the past 10 years. She supported him while he was attempting to become a plastic surgeon. He is now a successful plastic surgeon. They are still happily married, but Joon-Ho happens to meet divorcee Sang-Mi. Sang-Mi wants Joon-Ho regardless if he is already married.

Meanwhile, Sang-Won is a chef and the younger brother of Sang-Mi. Due to his painful memory of being dumped by the woman he loved, his personality seems to have become cold. He actually still has a warm heart.

The series stars Lee Young-eun as Wang Geum-hee, Yoon Sun-woo as Joo Sang-won, Lee Chae-young as Joo Sang-mi, Kim Sa-kwon as Han Joon-ho, Kim Hye-ok as Na Yeong-sim and Na Hye-mi as Wang Geum-joo.

Synopsis for Battle Through The Heavens:

Xiao Yan is the son of Xiao Zhan and Gu Wenxin. When Xiao Yan was nine, his mother was killed by enemies and his father never talked about it. Until he was fifteen years old, his martial art has made no progress due to his mother's ring absorbing all his progress. One day, Xiao Yan encounters the old man Yao Chen after making contact with the ring. With the help of Yao Chen, Xiao Yan makes great advances in martial arts, and learns of the main instigator the death of his mother.

Adapted from the eponymous novel Doupo Cangqiong, the series stars Leo Wu (Shi Xiaosong (young) as Xiao Yan, Lin Yun as Xiao Xun'er, Baron Chen as Yao Chen, Li Qin as Xiao Yixian, Xin Zhilei as Medusa and Liu Meitong as Nalan Yanran.

Ice Adonis and Weaving A Tale Of Love will conclude on May 17th and Home For Summer and Battle Through The Heavens airs immediately after on May 18th respectively at 16:45 and 17:30 on e.tv.

The Black Door axed for new prequel on e.tv

After denying it's happening e.tv has cancelled The Black Door after just a year on air, with the sex-filled telenovela from Black Brain Pictures axed and getting replaced by another telenovela Isitha: The Enemy from the same production company.

Isitha - The Enemy will take a section of The Black Door's already established characters and create a new telenovela out of the Sokhulu family and the "struggles to keep their family together in the face of adversity as new challenges and new rivals come onto the scene".

Here, we find out what happened to Chuma Sokhulu who was presumed dead in The Black Door chapter of the Sokhulu story. It promises to be a gripping drama with captivating storylines and exciting performances.

The series airs weekdays at 21:30 from May 22nd replacing The Black Door. Prior to that, e.tv will be rolling out a new Turkish drama in place of Daai Crazy Somer, Roekeloos Dade.
