Beatriz Almazan, a widow with a generous heart, dedicates herself to raising her two children after her husband's death. Her life turns mysterious and terrifying when she meets the powerful millionaire Enrique de Martino, whom she agrees to marry. After moving to De Martino's house, Beatriz discovers that her new husband is a sorcerer who worships a diabolical entity and has resorted to black magic to amass his immense fortune. He will fight for Beatriz's love, only to realize that the curse from which no one can escape is love itself.
Starring Fernando Colunga, Marlene Favela, Julian Gil, Jacqueline Andere and a great cast. The Curse (El Maleficio) premiered on Las Estrellas on 13 November 2023 and concluded on 3 March 2024 after 82 episodes.
Based on the 1983 telenovela of the same name, The Curse is set to replace Happily Ever After from 15th of September on TLNovelas.
