Later, the suspicion is stifling in satirical horror Detention, where students trapped after hours in the school building are slowly picked off one- by-one by a serial killer. As the bodies pile up, typical teen stereotypes brainy Riley (Shanley Caswell), hipster Clapton (Josh Hutcherson) and popular Ione (Spencer Locke) must survive long enough to stop the killer from getting out.
James McAvoy and Mark Strong face off in Welcome to the Punch, where family problems force a notorious criminal (Strong) to return to his hometown, giving the detective who worked on his case (McAvoy) one final chance to get his man. The cat-and-mouse game continues in gritty thriller The Brave One, where Jodie Foster shines as a New York radio host who turns into a vigilante after her fiancé is killed in a brutal attack. As she prowls the streets at night, anonymously dispensing justice as she sees fit, a determined detective (Terrence Howard) sets out to bring her in.
