New Series Alert: Close To My Heart Coming Soon To Star Life

Star Life is an international entertainment channel owned by Disney Star which houses several Bollywood productions such as Imlie, Kulfi - The Singing Star, Anupama, Lost In Love and Made For Each Other will soon rollout it's first series of 2023, Close To My Heart.

Close To My Heart (Channa Mereya) follows an ambitious hotelier and vivacious girl cross paths who initially despise each other, eventually, the constant repulsion turns into true love. It stars Niyati Fatnani and Karan Wahi in the lead roles.

The Hindi based drama broadcasted in 2022 with a total of 110 episodes each consisting of 23-25 minute episodes on Star Bharat.

Close To My Heart received mixed to positive reviews from critics. Gayatri Nirmal of Pinkvilla stated "Channa Mereya is a decent watch and brings along a dash of freshness. Niyati Fatnani's optimism & Karan Wahi's rage grips viewers.

Forbidden Passion season 2 not moving forward on Telemundo

The origin story of Forbidden Passion

Close To My Heart is said to occupy the second half of Lost In Love's timeslot meaning both shows will air for only 30 minutes from 6th of February.

Star Life has a very broad schedule as some viewers are aware most content such as Anupama, Imlie, Lost In Love and My Desire are still ongoing in India and with no end date in site on the channel they're very much behind on rolling out new shows.

It's led some fans to criticize the channel for its lack of variety and inability to expand their offering. Overtime, we could see more shows taking the plunge in order to accommodate other shows while others like Lost In Love have their airtime reduced.
