The hosts will find foods believed to have been “lost to the past” — buried in bunkers, rotng in root cellars, forgoten in fridges or collectng dust on shelves — in order to explore history through food. In each episode, Macuga and Old Smokey hit the road to visit collectons of vintage food and to learn the stories behind collectors.

FREDDY MERCURY: KINGS OF QUEENS

Queen’s legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury earned a place in modern rock history as the writer and singer of some of its most legendary songs: “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Killer Queen,” “We Are the Champions,” and “Crazy Litle Thing Called Love.” Born in Zanzibar to Indian parents and later raised in India, Mercury and his “Queen” bandmates went on to sell albums in unit totals that rivalled the Beatles. His remarkable four octave singing range was a key ingredient in the band’s success. Mercury died of AIDS in late 1991, less than 24 hours afer a public admission he had contracted the disease.

In each 60 minute episode, the best bladesmiths from all over the country come to the forge for a once-in-a-lifetme opportunity, to square of against our renowned Forged in Fire Masters in the highest stakes forging competton yet!
First, the smiths must prove they have what it takes to challenge an icon by beatng each other in a series of win-or-go-home forging challenges. Then the remaining two smiths - one of our seasoned Masters and one hopeful compettor - will compete to create a fully functoning blade that will be evaluated and tested. If the challenger can fnd a way to prevail against our judge in an intense bladesmithing showdown, they’ll walk away with $10K and eternal bragging rights.
