eMedia Investments Revives eKasi As A Local Programming Block

eKasi is making a comeback 3 years after eMedia Investments replaced it with eExtra in the hopes to bolster their content offering. It also spawned an anthology series known as eKasi: Our Stories.

The brand will be launching as a weekend programming block for 1 hour through eReality and according to sources Rewind.

The block will serve up shows such as Will You Be My Ex, Deadbeats, Beef and Pay Back The Money. They will likely serve up archived content from eMedia Investments as well as content seen on M-Net.

eKasi is the second block introduced to eMedia's stable following the launch of the Afrikaans block, Kuiertyd in 2018 that serves up reality, lifestyle and telenovelas.
