After 18 years, Ellen is calling it quits for her infamous talk show which can be seen on the recently launched Me channel which serves as a replacement for the former youth brand, VUZU.
The show witnessed a drop in viewership following allegations regarding the work environment and M-Net even got to a point where The Kelly Clarkson Show was slotted in its timeslot last year.
With the talk show's demise scheduled for 2022 it's obvious M-Net will have to find another program to fill up that timeslot. Maybe The Kelly Clarkson Show from M-Net or Dr. Phil from Mzansi Magic will move to Me on a permanent basis or could a newcomer perhaps The Drew Barrymore Show take up the spot.
The Kelly Clarkson Show is a fun, energetic show that breaks with tradition. In each episode audiences will experience an hour full of remarkable stories, celebrity guests, spontaneous surprises, humor, heart and, of course, good music.
Dr. Phil covers a wide variety of topics including weight loss, financial planning, errant children, gift suggestions, autistic children, unhappily married couples, rebellious teenagers, mothers who dress far from their age, mothers who refuse to attend weddings, children being stars and their parents' rights, the emotional benefits of controlling, dysfunctional families etc.
The Drew Barrymore Show features human-interest stories, celebrity guests, lifestyle segments and field pieces.
