11 years ago, Telemundo did a remake of the Chilean telenovela Where Is Elisa? (¿Dónde está Elisa?) now the channel thought it would be wise to do another remake by changing the name of the lead to Frida.
The Search For Frida (Buscando A Frida), revolves around a family whose lives have been turned upside down when a family member goes missing around someone's birthday. The family discover hidden truths about each other as well as the lead.
The second remake stars Eduardo Santamarina, Ximena Herrera, and Arap Bethke.
For those who haven't seen Telemundo's first remake or the origin have a bask in the drama. Even though, the concept is nothing new all have managed to make some minor adjustments take for instance Love And Betrayal (Gavilanes) and A Passion For Revenge (Tierra De Reyes).
Both shows three male and female leads while one had their characters find their perfect match as AA, BB, CC the other had AA, BC, CB. The only thing that further distanced these shows were the climaxes.
Viewers have until 10 January at 22:00 which gives them plenty of time to decide if they'll kick this show to the curb or give it a chance who knows you might be able to find the variation with Where Is Elisa.
In other news, the festive season is upon us while families get together or do kind deeds. This news will ignite some flames, Christmas Miracles is coming back and what better way for viewers to spot the show then have it on Christmas Day.
