Reminder: Get Ready For A Trash-Tastic Adventure With The Hilarious And Action-Packed Garbage Boy And Trash Can Premiering On Cartoon Network Africa On Monday, 17 July @ 16:45 CAT
He's a superhero with no actual superpowers, and his sidekick is a trash can, but that's not going to stop young Tobi from using absolutely anything he finds to set off on a world of amazing adventures in Garbage Boy and Trash Can, the first Cartoon Network superhero animated comedy series to be produced in Africa.
Premiering on Cartoon Network Africa on 17 July at 16:45 CAT, Garbage Boy and Trash Can was commissioned by Cartoon Network Africa following Nigerian animator Ridwan Moshood winning the CN Creative Lab initiative. The series was produced in collaboration with the newly-formed animation production company Pure Garbage, a South African-based company specially launched for the project, which is a partnership between series creator Ridwan Moshood, Mike de Seve, head of US multi–Emmy Award-winning studio Baboon Animation and Nick Wilson, founder of African Animation Network (AAN). Magic Carpet, a leading Nigerian animation studio, co-produced the show, and actors from Uganda, Malawi, Nigeria and the USA voice the characters. This global collaboration marks the first innovative model in animation between talents from Africa, Europe, and the US under Cartoon Network's creative production process – a process intended to train and mentor African talent and produce content of international broadcast quality.
He may not be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound or run faster than a speeding locomotive, but Garbage Boy's belief in his superpowers may just be his actual superpower! Where most people see trash, Garbage Boy sees unlimited opportunities for fun and adventure. Whether it's building a bazooka out of some old PVC piping that fires wads of mouldy socks or an electron microscope from broken VCR parts, Garbage Boy believes that everything – even garbage - is worthwhile. Exiled from his home planet, the alien robot, Trash Can, is driven by his sense of duty. He has an infinite intellect, a cyber-noggin filled with galaxies of knowledge and a compact, metallic frame housing an endless number of gadgets. Together, they tackle their major enemies – boredom and Dr Sore Eyes (full name 'Braintomus Bombastus Edgar James Vanessa Sore Eyes, Ph.D.) – although the latter does a pretty good job of thwarting himself as he tries to avenge being shunned by the Academy of Really Real Sciences.
Creator, Director and Art Director Ridwan Moshood found inspiration for the show in the adversity of his childhood. "The inspiration for creating the lead characters came from the derogatory name some bullies used to call me back in junior secondary school. However, I soon realised that this name did not define my identity or limit my potential," he says. "It is this powerful message that I aim to convey to children currently experiencing name-calling and bullying. That's why I decided to create a show centred around the character 'Garbage Boy' who, despite the name, is actually a superhero — a symbol of overcoming adversity and proving that hurtful labels do not determine one's true worth."
The style of Garbage Boy and Trash Can is a homage to the cartoons Moshood watched during his childhood, mainly the Saturday morning shows like Dexter's Laboratory, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, The Powerpuff Girls, and more. "It is Dexter's Laboratory that greatly influences the artistic style of the show, as it remains my favourite Cartoon Network series. In fact, meeting the creator, Genndy Tartakovsky, is a personal aspiration of mine," he says.
Cartoon Network Africa's Creative Lab began its journey in June 2018 as an initiative designed to bring innovative, local short-form content to the channel and its digital platforms while reinforcing the local relevance of the brand. "The Cartoon Network team was amazed by Ridwan's talent and his vision for the show, even then – and we're delighted to see the final product adding to Cartoon Network's diverse and original content," says Ana González, Editorial Lead: Southern Europe and Africa, Kids Brands, Warner Bros. Discovery. "We are proud to produce and bring on air a pure African story with a fantastic Nigerian comedy hero in Garbage Boy and Trash Can, featuring fresh local animation talent and a truly stellar African voice cast to produce local, inclusive content."
Toonami To Be Replaced By Warner TV Next In France, Channel Might Go Dark In Africa Alongside TNT
Warner Bros. Discovery announces the September 4 launch of Warner TV Next, Toonami's new brand identity. Intended primarily for a target audience of 25/49 year olds, Warner TV Next relies on the successful formula of Toonami, the first of the “new generation” channels.
Warner TV Next builds on the legacy of iconic studio Warner Bros., a studio celebrating its centenary throughout 2023. The Warner brand, synonymous with quality, boldness and innovation comes as a landmark for viewers since it is known by 4 out of 5 French people.
Visually, Warner TV Next affirms its affiliation with a Warner TV, the group's series and cinema channel through a new logo developed in-house.
The brand also deploys modern communication codes with very pop culture packaging and graphic codes, based on the emblematic Warner Bros. logo. Warner TV Next, like Warner TV, is marketed by FranceTV Publicité.
Warner TV Next is strong in programming that brings together all DC Comics fans thanks to the best animated series and films from the DC universe (Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Young Justice), Japanese animation (DragonBall Super, My Hero Academia) as well as wrestling with, exclusively, the AEW league.
Warner TV Next also offers Adult Swim programs, the mark of all audacity, with animated series and fiction for millennials such as Rick and Morty, Robot Chicken, Royal Crackers, The Eric André Show or Primal.
In other developments, Boomerang in the Middle East and North Africa will rebrand to Cartoonito on the same day Warner TV Next is launched. Similar to Cartoonito Africa, both brands will be offering the same content and only recieve a new coat of paint.
Interesting to note, Warner Bros. Discovery pulled the same scenario with TNT when it replaced TCM in 2018 in Africa. Now the channel airs a lot of modern age films some of which haven't been viewed on low tiered film channels and is home to wrestling promotion, AEW.
It currently ranks as the most watched movie channel in the South African market pulling at least 10 million households. As for Toonami, Warner Bros. Discovery has been very discreet in regards to performance and new content which puts it in precarious position.
Unlike France, Toonami was a 24 DC animation channel rehashing anime like Dragonball Super from Cartoon Network alongside other content like Justice League, Green Lantern, Teen Titans and Batman I mean not even Harley Quinn despite its rebrand in 2021.
It wouldn't seem far fetched if some changes awaited the channel and part of this had to with Warner TV. Our theory is that Toonami is dissolved with further content being divided between Cartoon Network, Boing and TNT.
The French team of Toonami also handled the channel in Africa so it's demise is inevitable.
Another brand whose future comes into question is TNT, Warner TV has been phasing out the brand across European territories in the general entertainment aspect. Warner TV could be something Warner Bros. Discovery explores for the market at some point.

Development Alert: Telemundo Will Be Undergoing More Schedule Adjustments In The Coming Weeks Across Africa
During the month, Telemundo had phased out their remaining primetime offering as mentioned Nurses ended a month early and that was the only show that was actually building up most of their schedule as the rest of the lineup was funneled with rebroadcasts.
Although, there's no actual word on when or if primetime will ever resume. Telemundo is expected to make some more rounds to their current offering.
Nurses and Law Of The Heart were slotted for the coming month or at least from what a DStv user saw on the programme guide. In an enquiry to MultiChoice, it was stated that further episodes for both shows could be seen on Universal+ through the DStv app.
Several shows are ending next month such as On The Other Side Of The Wall, Lord Of The Skies and Queen Of The South. I was told new content was meant to rollout on the channel but due to changing regulations it was halted.
Bringing us to our 7 day lineup, this is what the channel will look like in the coming months.

It's being suggested by sources that Case Closed will likely take up the slots used by For Love And Justice once it ends in August. Nothing is certain but based on the matter with Nurses, Telemundo is probably trying to play it safe by limiting the shows.
Cameroon and Uganda's anti-gay laws also include imprisonment and suspension of TV channels. Telemundo's way of airing old content is probably another way to ease the burden for consumers should they get banned from these regions and possibly not air in Africa.

An Among Us TV Series Is In Development
Development Alert: The Final Episodes Of The Owl House To Rollout In The Coming Months Alongside New Series Kiff On Disney Channel Africa
The Walt Disney Company has been closing several international channels across the world with a few more channels set to close in Asia by the end of 2023. While as remaining linear channels had since then merged with other international territories to form a unified feed.
As cable becomes obsolete each passing second, The Walt Disney Company opts to prioritise Disney+ with the best of Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, National Geographic and leave the remaining linear offering to promote the bulk of content viewed on their streaming platform.
Kiff, an upcoming animated series that was unveiled at the 2021 Annecy International Film Festival forms part of those endeavours by the streamer. It follows an an optimistic squirrel whose best intentions often lead to complete chaos, and her best friend Barry, a sweet and mellow bunny.
It was produced by Titmouse who also worked on Mao Mao: Heroes Of Pure Heart on Cartoon Network and Home: The Adventures Of Tip And Oh on DreamWorks.
Kiff is slated to make its international debut on the Disney Channel by August 21st. Prior to that, the fantasy drama The Owl House is set to make its final rounds months prior by July 15th.
When a human girl named Luz stumbles upon a portal to another world, she befriends a rebellious witch named Eda and a warrior named Dragon. She soon discovers her dream of becoming a witch and finds herself welcome in a new family.
The Owl House has received widespread critical acclaim from critics and fans, with many praising it's animation, humor, characters, voice acting, themes, emotional weight, and its LGBTQIA+ representation compared to other Disney media,

The premier will be a nostalgic moment for many parents who grew up watching ARTHUR and his many friends, and will now be able to introduce the adored character to their own children, continuing the legacy.
The animated series is aimed at viewers aged four to eight, helping foster an interest in reading and writing, encouraging positive social skills, and models age-appropriate strategies problem-solving strategies.
The show chronicles the adventures of ARTHUR (an eight-year-old aardvark) through engaging, emotional stories that explore real issues kids face. The comedy-like series tells stories from a kid's point of view without moralising or talking down. Situations on ARTHUR develop in realistic ways and don't always turn out as Arthur or his friends might expect.

Development Alert: Ginx eSports TV Ends It's Run As A Linear Channel In The United Kingdom, TV Channel To Remain Through On Demand Streaming Services With More Markets Rumoured To Follow
Could Nurses Be Making A Comeback To Telemundo Africa, Here's Why?
During the month, Telemundo's primetime had been phased out or in this case Nurses as it wrapped up early leaving the door open to more rebroadcasts as the channel is adhering to regulations seen in Uganda and Cameroon which prohibit the promotion of homosexual content.
This still comes as a bit of a shocker to most consumers as the channel incorporates a lot of diversity into 90% of their content and also confusion with the reentry of For Love And Justice so we assume that they don't want shows strictly centred in those fields.
For which Nurses had plenty of another could be that Telemundo only opts to air For Love And Justice as it is a rebroadcast and not a primetime series as seen with Nurses.
Despite its removal from the schedule, Nurses is allocated in next month's schedule alongside Law Of The Heart which was initially slated in the timeslot of Almost Yours. This was on the channel's official Passionistas Group after a user had spotted both shows in their initial slots.
Following the possible comeback to the medical drama, DStv was asked on whether Nurses would be added to Telemundo and only responded to say further episodes were available on the Box Set through the DStv app.
As for the section where Nurses is viewed, DStv issued statement apologising to consumers for the schedule changes below that are the episodes consumers were meant to see Telemundo before local regulations had those removed from the channel.
Onto the schedule, it's possible that the programme guide may have not been updated yet. These changes came in the last minute and they probably didn't have time or are still trying to rectify most of their offering. I mean it would be shocking if otherwise considering the episode number.
It would make more sense if the channel continued from where they stopped as opposed advancing

News Shorts: Shocker (NOT REALLY) Mindset Network Ends It's Run As A Linear Channel After 18 Years For Liberty Learn, Telemundo Africa To Hit A New Low With Another Rebroadcast Of Decisions And TCM Closes Down In The UK By The End Of The Month
Recap To Last Year: eXposed Becomes The Premier Destination For The Best International Series
eXposed is a general entertainment channel operated by eMedia Investments that broadcasts a mixture of reality shows, drama series and documentaries. Some of the content available on the channel include The Walking Dead, Flower Of Evil and Empire.
The channel was added as a replacement to eReality and over the past year a supplement to the former international content viewed on e.tv. I mean the channel kind of resembles the main channel in a lot of aspects they offer the best of eReality and eExtra.
Prior to those two channels rollout on Openview, most of their content was seen on e.tv at the time and as these channels became a household name that only left an empty void on the main channel with a portion of their channel bombarded with their repeats.
In the later parts of 2010, e.tv was the Bop TV of our generation featuring shows like Family Feud, Fear Factor, NCIS: Los Angeles and The Resident. Fast forward to 2023, the latter can only be viewed through Openview with selected content distributed by M-Net on DStv.
Most of which isn't on a platform like DStv Access and Easyview. SABC 3 (stylised as S3) is another hub to relive those days with shows like The Good Doctor, Killing Eve and El Capo. Sure these are different programs but it does make a good successor.
If I had to sum up the issue with international on e.tv, MultiChoice and SABC have been in the local game since inception and eMedia Investments is trying to build on that so instead of erasing e.tv's entire existence we have channels like eXposed keeping the magic alive.

Liberty In Partnership With Mindset Network Relaunch The Educational Channel As Liberty Learn
Recap To The Month: The Future Of Nurses And Telemundo Africa Have Been Revealed
During the month, Telemundo halted further distribution of Nurses with further episodes made available on Universal+ through the DStv app. After Cameroon and Uganda passed laws prohibiting the promotion of homosexual content in the regions.
As advised, consumers in South Africa are viewing the same content as these regions therefore halting primetime on the channel much earlier than expected with Nurses that was initially slated to end in July was cut halfway through the fourth season.
Basically, Telemundo became a reruns channel as primetime is currently funneled with Almost Yours, Decisions, Queen Of The South and Lord Of The Skies joining existing repeats like For Love And Justice and On The Other Side Of The Wall.
According to sources who are following up on the matter, the channel was meant to launch a new series in place of Nurses and welcome Mexico's biggest trafficker in the third installment to Queen Of The South. Following these passing laws these have been delayed indefinitely.
Unlike Nurses, Queen Of The South may return on a restricted basis should it be LGBTQ inclusive or our theory especially with Nurses is that these shows as well as further new programming would be made exclusive to Southern Africa if not viewable in other regions.
Nickelodeon alongside several kids channels on DStv were embroiled in a similar scandal and they opted to just exclude affected shows from select regions. Over the years, even more brands such as BBC Lifestyle, TLC and E! took a similar route so why not Telemundo.
The only challenge particularly in these regions is that some of this content similar to Nurses and 100 Days To Fall In Love have these characters forming part of the main storyline and in such instance content would have to be exempted as opposed to filtered.
Another matter which several consumers had brought up was the inclusion of LGBTQ on shows, Telemundo being American based has joined several channels to include this in most if not all their content. If a closure is not on the cards then they'll be division.
As mentioned several channels operate 2 African feeds and most reside within DStv. It's led to consumers in the affected region to lose out on popular shows such as Cartoon Network's Steven Universe, Nickelodeon's The Loud House or even TLC's I Am Jazz.

Rovio To Launch An Educational Angry Birds
Finland’s Rovio Entertainment has partnered with Washington-based game developer Legends of Learning to launch new Angry Birds games with a focus on education.
Based on the Angry Birds characters, the games will teach STEM concepts—such as force, collisions and how to measure angles—to kids ages five to 14. The Legends of Learning online platform will release the games this fall.
Launched in 2017, Legends of Learning is a learning hub for elementary and middle school students. Game-based learning improves children’s grades, says Legends of Learning CEO and co-founder Vadim Polikov. The platform, which contains more than 2,000 educational video games, is mostly free but also offers paid options for teachers. It also allows kids to customize avatars by paying a subscription. It’s used by about 10 million teachers and students in the US, according to a release.
Rovio has long seen its Angry Birds games—which have been downloaded over five billion times—as a potential educational tool. The company previously expanded the games into education through a partnership with the University of Helsinki, which focused on creating games that blended fun with learning. And in 2014, it launched a standalone venture called Fun Academy to create educational games.
Rovio has lately been expanding beyond its core focus of making games. It’s now producing a series for Amazon Kids+ and Prime Video titled Angry Birds Mystery Island. Meanwhile, Japanese game developer SEGA is in the midst of acquiring Rovio in a US$776 million deal.
BET's Future As A Linear Channel Up In The Air As Tyler Perry Reportedly Backs Out Of Deal
Media mogul Tyler Perry refuses to cough up the $3 billion-plus that Paramount is asking in an auction of Black Entertainment Television — and the fierce haggling has begun to throw a sale into doubt, The Post has learned.
The “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” star has been considered the frontrunner to win the auction for BET Group, whose properties include cable channels BET and VH1 along with the BET+ streaming service.
But Perry is losing patience with the drawn-out process after making an offer that’s short of $3 billion — a price tag that other investors also consider to be lofty, according to a source close to the situation.
The filmmaker, who already owns a 25% stake in BET and BET+, has private equity backing for his offer, the insider added.
“He is used to getting his way and is frustrated,” the source said, adding that final bids are due by mid-July.
Paramount Global bought BET for $2.7 billion in 2000 when the Shari Redstone-owned company was called Viacom. The company wants roughly 10 times the BET Group’s current $325 million in Ebitda, or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, sources said.
However, the continuing decline in cable’s popularity as more people cut the cord figures to be a drag on BET Group’s future earnings.
Paramount Global — which includes CBS, MTV, Paramount Pictures, the recently launched Paramount+ streaming service and book publisher Simon & Schuster — had $15.6 billion in long-term debt as of March, according to public findings.
“Paramount’s leverage now is six times Ebitda, so to make this work a sale needs to happen at eight times or more,” the first source said, since after accounting for taxes a sale at a lower multiple will not reduce its debt level.
“There is interest, but not at eight times [Ebitda].”
There was a report by sometime ago that Perry had won the auction, leading to premature congratulations from Perry’s “Madea” co-star Keke Palmer.
Weather Channel owner Byron Allen is also in the hunt, according to an inside source.
Meanwhile, private equity firm CVC Capital Partners — which partnered with Group Black, a media company that teamed with celebrities including Rapper 50 Cent and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal — is out of the process, leaving Group Black looking for a well-funded partner, two sources said.
Canal+ To Acquire A 26% Stake In Hong Kong Based Streaming Platform VIU
PCCW and Canal+ have announced a strategic partnership through which the French media giant will become a significant minority shareholder in PCCW’s Asian streaming service Viu.
Canal+ will make a staggered investment of $300M in Viu, including an initial investment of $200M, resulting in a 26.1% stake. It also has an option to make a further investment and turn that stake into a controlling 51%.
In a statement, Canal+ talked expansion opportunities and plans to collaborate with Viu on premium production:
During the year, the French company expanded their stake in MultiChoice beyond 30%. This move similar to VIU raises speculation of a possible takeover and should that be the case one has to wonder what would become of Showmax and VIU in South Africa if it's operated by Canal+.
"This new strategic partnership will enable the further growth of Viu, leveraging the global strength and expertise of Canal+ through various initiatives including collaboration on premium productions and content creation, expansion of global market reach for Viu, and continual user experience improvement. The partnership will allow Canal+ to take a major step in developing Asia as its next growth engine.”
Viu is one of Asia’s leading streamers with more than 66 million monthly active users (MAU) and 12 million paid subscribers across Asia, the Middle East and South Africa. The service, which operates a combined AVOD and SVOD model, consistently ranks as the top streamer in terms of MAUs across Southeast Asia and second in terms of subscribers.
It produces a wide range of local-language drama series and lifestyle programming, with a focus on Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, and was a first mover in the acquisition of Korean content. In 2022, Viu reported $250M in revenue, representing growth of 36% year over year.
Maxime Saada, Canal+ Group CEO, said: “Canal+ already has leading market positions in Europe and Africa. We are now looking forward to developing Asia as an additional growth engine for the group. Our investment in Viu is a major step towards achieving this goal. Viu is already a business with scale, with its hybrid AVOD and SVOD business model and focus on local content, it has all the ingredients to deliver superior growth and continue to be a leading service in the region and beyond.
Janice Lee, Viu CEO and PCCW Media Managing Director, said: “When we launched Viu, we had set our sights on creating and transforming our media business into an international play by tapping into larger addressable markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa. Having created a robust streaming business, we are excited to have the addition of Canal+ as a strategic investor to further accelerate growth by drawing on Canal+’s global strength in premium productions, content creation and distribution expertise.”

BETA: Lost Youth Channel For The DStv Platform Has Surfaced The Net
K-TV is a defunct kids brand operated by M-Net which was the pay-tv channel's first attempt in the kids market followed by Koowee which too were erased from existence. But during the timeline of these channels, there were reports that MultiChoice was planning to launch a rival brand to Disney Channel and Nickelodeon.
In a press statement about the channel:
DStv will be launching a new channel in July aimed at teenagers. According to channel head, Helen Smit, no one has really focussed on this audience. "National research tells us that this market has an estimated R6 billion in disposable income. And our internal research has revealed that that's the tip of the iceberg - these kids get spending money on top of their monthly allowances."
Not much was known about the channel at the time only that Helen Smit served as the channel head. She worked as a television producer for over a decade and is well known figure on Paramount, SABC and M-Net.
Just as you thought further details about the channel was lost you come across various graphic designs which was shared through Behance account.
Through this we know that the channel was called BETA as the logo appears on the proposed graphic designs. We also got to see some of the content that would have been seen on the channel including Gossip Girl, Rad Girls, Robot Chicken and Celebrity Rehab.
Although we may never know why this channel never launched as intended. We assume it may have to do with VUZU. Back when the channel was still on air, it was seen with some of this content and when you kind of look like at the channels do share a resemblance.
Honestly, if BETA had launched as intended it would have probably wind up like K-TV, Koowee and M-Net City brands which were popular amongst consumers but had their content build the lineup of another channel or in this scenario M-Net and Nickelodeon.
Recap To The Year: Da Vinci's Family Entertainment Has Been Undergoing Several Changes
Da Vinci is a educational children's channel featuring a mix of live-action shows such as Operation Ouch, Animal Embassy and Treehouse Stories alongside animated shows such as Superhero Galore, Wild Kratts (currently seen on PBS Kids) and Doki.
It also offered a family oriented block featuring a lot of factual content and documentaries from Knowledge Kids, Discovery Science and National Geographic namely Genius and Future Human Al.
For several months, the company behind Da Vinci has been building its original portfolio with the recent rollout of Bear Grylls' celebrity tailored Becoming Xtraordinary with the slapstick comedy Fantastic Antics to rollout on the channel by the end of the year.
Aside from that, Da Vinci got rebranded during the year eliminating "Kids" from the name. It also led to a number of changes for its linear offering particularly the family offering catered to audiences aged 18 to 49 which has become a reruns graveyard for kids shows.
It doesn't come as a shocker considering not much investment was going onto that area of the channel for new content. Another was the hours in which the content was allocated as not a lot of households are tuning into those channels much less Da Vinci.
The phasing out of family from Da Vinci is similar in a way to the introduction of the 24 hour service for Cartoonito from Warner Bros Discovery as both channels are now tailed for preschoolers and taking on brands like Disney Junior, CBeebies and Nick Jr.
Unlike Da Vinci, Cartoonito doesn't create division amongst consumers as they have shows like Mr. Bean and Tom And Jerry shows which can pull a vast majority of Boomerang viewers while they adjust to shows such as Thomas And Friends and Batwheels.
Regular Nick: Games Presents One Of The Most Irritating Creations To Have Ever Existed On A Gameboy, Pink Panther Pinkadelic Pursuit
• Travel to the far reaches of the galaxy, including: outer-space, an exciting & dangerous underwater world & even medieval times
• Bowling balls, pink spray paint, a fire extinguisher and a giant magnet are just a few of the wild and wacky gadgets at your disposal;
• Use many disguises to hide from your enemies while you perform dangerously impossible tasks.
Review: for first timers, this game screams all kinds of confusion I don't want to get into detail but you find yourself getting lost inbetween levels and having to become an Albert Einstein to solve the simplest math equation. Anyone wishing to play this game would need to have the same intelligence complex as Albert Einstein.
As for the graphics, that gets 9/10 why leave the 10% simple the graphics are distracting and often you get lost by repeated designs.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Here Lies Squidward's Hopes And Dreams
When I was younger I always thought that Squidward was a grumpy and mean character because of the way he always talks to his "friends". But as I got older I realise that Squidward wasn't that mean after all - it was SpongeBob.
You see countless scenes where he arrives or works at The Krusty Krab. He is annoyed at all of it when you get older working at jobs you don't like to pay the bills. You can almost relate to him in a way.
It's kind of absurd that us humans have to work our entire lives for money only to then just die. Us humans chase money almost like we're gonna bring it into the next life with us.
I order the food, you cook the food, then the customer gets the food. We do that for 40 years and then we die, sounds like pretty good deal to me. What do you say?, Squidward.
You start to sympathize with him, his character shows that he's tired of it all and the only time you ever see Squidward happy is when he's on vacation or away from people.
The reason Squidward is so mean to SpongeBob and Patrick is because they never leave him alone. Sure these two are very kind and caring individuals in a way but I understand Squidward's frustration with them. You gave to admit these two are very intolerable.
I understand Squidward as I too was an annoying individual as a child so I know what it takes to be an annoying person. It doesn't mean someone is a bad person because they are annoying.
They just treat SpongeBob like a brother to Squidward. He doesn't take no as an answer or know when to stop. He's basically can get on your nerves after a long day.
There's also a scene where Squidward arrives to a tombstone where it's filled with broken dreams.
It goes to show you that a lot of people have dreams that they haven't been able to achieve. This goes to show you that you should be able to chase your dreams don't end up like Squidward and work for a job you hate, grind for your dreams, it will take them but keep grinding and you'll get there.
