Mpuma Kapa TV witnessed the carination of what was announced on our respective platforms and other media of the partnership between MPK TV, 1 KZN TV & Newsroom Afrika. less than 6 months ago.
We are happy that what we started as a proposal on paper has now come to fruition. The training program that was put together addressed the core-areas of the work of both Mpuma Kapas editorial & technical teams. The program, which the trainees will reinforce what their managers are accentuating as important for them to deliver a news product that is credible & up to standard.
The feedback that the station received from the trainees made us realize the importance of improving skills of our people. We are already reaping the fruits of the newly acquired skills.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the teams from IAJ, Mojapele Productions, & Inala Media for the job well done in delivering the training & for their understanding of the circumstances under which we operate as community broadcasters. To the teams at Newsroom Afrika, thank you for putting together such relevant extensive training program.
To Multi Choice, we are greatful for your support whenever we request for assistance to help us deliver a quality product for our viewers. May our partnership with Newsroom Afrika grow from strength to strength.
A special congratulations to Lusulwethu Antoni, Jamy-Leigh Rooy, Nelisa Kom, Lumka Bekindawo, Jesica Bobo, and last but not least Michael Maxley Koester, who achieved this great milestone.
