Aquaman: King of Atlantis is an animated 3-part miniseries of the DC superhero, Aquaman. The series follows his big-eyed travels, responses, and decisions about the recently crowned King of Atlantis. His goal? To prove to his subjects and himself that he’s the right man for the trident.
No day is short of chaos for Aquaman as he deals with unscrupulous surface dwellers, elder evils from beyond time, and his own half-brother who wants to overthrow him. However, with resilience, perseverance, and his loyal confidants: Mera, the water-controlling warrior-princess and Vulko, the scholar, by his side, Aquaman learns how to be King as he wins over the trust of those in his kingdom.
Aquaman: King of Atlantis mixes comedy and adventure with some action sequences. The boldly illustrated animation is executively produced by James Wan, under his Atomic Monster production company, and President of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, Sam Register.
