During the year, eMedia Investments uploaded the third season of mafia based drama Die Put (Cukur) to consumers of the eVOD streaming service and prior to that Annekan Die Swa Kry was also moved to streaming despite reports of both shows launching on eExtra.
After waiting almost a year for the third season, eExtra has unveiled the highly anticipated third season which is slated for May 8th.
Synopsis for Die Put:
Koçovalı Family are faced with the biggest pain of their lives. Because of Yücel's trap, one of Yamaç or İdris Koçovalı had to kill the other. While Akın Koçovalı takes control of Çukur, where nothing will be the same as before, the step of Baykal's daughter Efsun to Çukur will cause the cards to be redistributed. While Efsun's plan, who collaborated with Yücel, Azer, and Timsah, is eagerly awaited, it will be a question mark how Akın will led the neighborhood.
The series stars Aras Bulut İynemli as Yamaç Koçovalı, Perihan Savaş as Sultan Koçovalı, Öner Erkan as Selim Koçovalı, Erkan Kolçak Köstendil as Salih Koçovalı or Vartolu Sadettin, Necip Memili as Cumali Koçovalı and Rıza Kocaoğlu as Aliço.
Ahead of its return will be political drama House Of Cards from May 4th on eXposed formerly seen on M-Net and Netflix. eMedia Investments acquired rights to American adaptation to the 1989 novel of the same name by Michael Dobbs.
Synopsis for House Of Cards:
Frank Underwood, a power-hungry Democratic congressman from South Carolina and House majority whip, celebrates the 2012 election of President Garrett Walker, who had agreed to appoint him Secretary of State in exchange for his support. However, Underwood learns that the President wants him to promote his agenda in Congress and will not honor their agreement. Inwardly seething, Underwood presents himself as a helpful lieutenant to Walker. In reality, Underwood begins an elaborate plan behind the President's back.
The series stars Kevin Spacey as Francis J. "Frank" Underwood, Robin Wright as Claire Underwood, Michael Kelly as Douglas "Doug" Stamper, Jayne Atkinson as Catherine "Cathy" Durant, Corey Stoll as Peter Russo and Kate Mara as Zoe Barnes.
In other developments, the short-lived second season to Daai Crazy Somer comes to a close in the coming weeks with Roekeloos Dade once slated to rollout on eExtra moving to e.tv with Doodsondes S5 rolling out later in the year on the channel.
