eMedia Updates: The Goldbergs Return For A Second Season On e.tv Alongside Die Put On eVOD With A Launch Date Possibly Revealed On eExtra And eVOD Unveils The Trailer For Their Sixth Local Movie Titled The Umbrella Men

Don't miss the final episode of Modern Family

Modern Family: The Finale is a two part special for the family sitcom as it draws to a close. The finale drew close to 8 million viewers in 2019 and viewers on e.tv will get to the final episode this Sunday as the channel makes room for a new season of The Goldbergs.

On the season premiere, there's an episode titled Love Is A Mixtape where Adam makes a mixtape for Dana, Beverly sees it and assumes it's for her. Not wanting to disappoint his girlfriend or his mom, he gives Dana the same tape, but Dana hears it when Beverly picks her and Adam up from a movie date. This ultimately lands Adam into trouble with both Beverly and Dana.

You can find out more about the premiere on Sunday at 19:30 from 12 June.

A new season of Die Put is now on eVOD

The season finale to the 1st season of Die Put was met with blackout on DStv as eExtra alongside the other e.tv channels were scrapped at the last minute leaving consumers with a cliffhanger.

eMedia Investments was distraught about the whole issue and couldn't inform the public on time. As mentioned across several media pages, viewers are encouraged to stream the last episode on eVOD and get Openview if they wish to see their favourite shows.

Those who stay aboard DStv without eVOD or Openview will have to wait for all the upcoming shows from eExtra and eVOD particularly the Turkish to made available on e.tv.

The first 10 episodes to the second season of Die Put is currently streaming on eVOD with eExtra likely to air it by the 25 August replacing Die Binnekring which coincides with the new season of Doodsondes which is set to replace Droomvelore on e.tv.

The streaming platform managed to round up their local slate with 5 originals films as eMedia plans to spend R100 million in local content. One of their projects, is set to launch on the platform by June is a crime film titled The Umbrella Men.
