News Shorts: Cartoon Network's New Series Garbage Boy And Trash Can Gearing Up For A 2023 Debut And Elif And Celebrity Game Night Are Both Returning With Fourth Seasons Respectively On eExtra And E!

More African entertainment coming to Cartoon Network

Created by Moshod Shades Ridwan in partnership with African Animation Network, the comedy-driven toon is about a boy with imaginary superpowers who fights for justice with his trusty sidekick. Moshood was inspired to create the series by his experience being bullied in school. As seen through various social outlets, the series had wrapped production.

It was slated to debut by the fall of last a but for some apparent reason that was never the case. Amidst the addition of Garbage Boy And Trash Can, the network is looking to air a brand new African inspired series, Junior.

The journey continues on eExtra with Elif

Currently on its third season, the series followed the 6 year old who got separated from her mother.

In the upcoming fourth season, Macide's sister, Kiymet comes after 30 years to revenge her. In the past, her husband abandoned her pregnant and married Macide. Together with her son Mahir, they make evil plans against the Haktanir family.

The third season is set to come to a close in the coming future with season 4 expected later in April.

Celebrity Game Night is back for a fourth season

The award-winning Celebrity Game Night returns for Season 4 from Sunday 23 April at 19:00 on E!.

Anele Mdoda returns to host Africa’s biggest games night with 10 one-hour episodes, promising uncontrollable laughter and non-stop hilarity.

Led by long-standing team captains Ayanda Thabethe and Jason Goliath, a starry array of local media personalities as they compete in raucous challenges.
