Proof that a spin-off can be just as good as – or even better than – the original comes with this animated comedy. Set before their adventures with Gru, it explains the minions’ origins and how, after several less-than-successful bosses, Stuart, Kevin and Bob set out to find a new one. They succeed beyond their wildest dreams when they are recruited by Scarlet Overkill (Sandra Bullock) who, naturally, wants to take over the world. The voice cast also includes Alison Janney and Michael Keaton.

7th September at 18:00
When legendary fighter Wild Knuckles is ousted as the leader of the Vicious 6, a young Gru is determined to join the group. Sadly, the other members don’t see him in quite the same way as his devoted minions Kevin, Stuart, Bob and Otto. While they have helped Gru get ahead in the super criminal stakes, when he outsmarts the Vicious 6 all their troubles are only just beginning. Steve Carell leads an all-star voice cast that includes Michelle Yeoh, Taraji P Henson, RZA and Julie Andrews.

an eccentric trainer to get him and a band of
