Branded "outlaws" for generations, unprecedented demand for their backwoods spirits is making it harder than ever for these masters of distilling to practice their craft in the shadows. In the Blue Ridge Mountains, veteran moonshiner Tickle returns to the woods after years in jail; and it's not long before he lures his friend Tim back to the outlaw side. Meanwhile, Mark and Digger start a new shine season, but make a risky move with a new hired hand. Facing double the number of government raids driven by corporate greed to profit from the "hand-made" spirits boom, the very culture these moonshiners stand for is on the line.
