Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) raise Cam's nephew Cal (Marcello Reyes) and worry about their daughter Lily's (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) odd behavior. Gloria (Sofia Vergara) suspects Manny (Rico Rodriguez) is gay. Claire (Julie Bowen) considers accepting a job at another company and fights with Jay (Ed O'Neill) about it. Jerry (Ed Begley, Jr.) drops by with news about DeDe (Shelley Long). The season also stars Jeremy Maguire as Joe, Chris Geere as Arvin, and Elizabeth Banks as Sal. Guest stars for the season include Nathan Lane, Mira Sorvino, Andrew Daly, Josh Brener, and Fred Willard.
