New Channel Alert For All DStv Customers: Racing 240 A Horseracing Channel From 4Racing TV To Take On Tellytrack

Racing 240 will be available to DStv Premium, DStv Compact Plus, DStv Compact, DStv Family and DStv Access subscribers and will include live horse racing from 4Racing venues in the Highveld (Turffontein and Vaal), Nelson Mandela Bay (Fairview) and Cape Racing (Kenilworth and Durbanville) as well as a variety of top international races as the main content offering.

Easyview customers are said to also get the channel which has yet to be confirmed. MultiChoice doesn't seem to promote the package anymore I mean even Blitz is considered an Access channel.

Racing 240 will go live on Wednesday at 17:30 and translate live to Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town at 18:00 for the Cape Town Met 2022 barrier draw.
Racing 240 broadcasts horse racing on race days such as the Cape Town Met, L’Ormarins Queens Plate, Derby Day, Charity Mile and the World Sports Betting Summer Cup.

Racing 240 will also feature and cover content from global races in locations such as Dubai, UK, US, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, Turkey, France, Sweden, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
Racing 240 will broadcast global racing events such as the Dubai World Cup, Kentucky Derby, The Grand National, Epsom Derby, Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Melbourne Cup, Hong Kong Vase and Royal Ascot.

The first major feature race to be shown on Racing 240 is the build up and live coverage of the Cape Town Met on Saturday 29th January 2022 at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town.

The live races are complemented by magazine shows and broadcasts that showcase the lifestyle and entertainment elements of the sport and profile the sport’s jockeys, trainers, owners, caretakers and players.

The stats, odds, form guides, dates and betting information that are part of the sport are also displayed on Racing 240.
