New Series Alert: The Violence Coming Soon To Cape Town TV With The Real Housewives Of Cape Town Is In The Works

Cape Town TV is picking up more dramas

Following the launch of the YouTube based family drama Legacy Of Betrayal, Cape Town TV is picking up another series from the masterminds of the show called The Violence which is set for March 2022 debut.

In 2021, The Violence was distributed a short film through Cape Town TV promoting issues such as gender based violence. The series continues from where the movie stopped promoting various kinds of abuse.

The leads include Emmanuel Mashumu as Nkateko, Makgotso Selaule as Bonolo, Innocent Setagane as Godfather.

Other actors joining the series include Tiyiselani Khosa as Wiseman, Kamogelo Lesufi as Ofentse, Fortune Maenetja as Thulani, Excellent Malesa as Scorpion, Ashel Mashale as Mpho, PC Malatji as Quinton, Sharon Pilusa as Lerato, Lebogang Malesa as Tiisetso, Samaria Mokhomola as Lesedi and Rivalani Masavana as Vukosi.

The Violence was produced by Mashuganefilms, Setagane Empire Films, Retse Photography and Starlight production. Setagane Innocent serves as both creator and director with Emmanuel Mashumu.

The series is said to debut sometime in March with the first season consisting of 100 episodes.

The Housewives are invading Cape Town

The Real Housewives franchise took Mzansi into the lives of elegant and wealthy women in Johannesburg and Durban. After a successful run in both cities, the hit series is headed to the sunny city of Cape Town. Production for the series will reportedly begin after Real Housewives of Durban.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took to Twitter on Wednesday 12 January to announce that Real Housewives of Cape Town is in the works and will be “coming soon”.

Mphela further highlighted that production for Real Housewives of Cape Town will kick off after season two of Real Housewives of Durban.

The second season of Real Housewives of Durban is set to premiere on Showmax on Friday 28 January 2022.
