Earlier in the year, the newly launched Mpuma Kapa TV aired its first local drama Ekhondweni and in some way it seems like more community channels want in on the action.
It was announced through several media outlets that Cape Town TV will soon air the Limpopo/Polokwane based drama Mathata in the coming months.
Mathata takes place Seshego and Polokwane area, taking you through the lives of the everyday people, filled with drama, suspense and whole of action, betrayal and ways to dig in the truth.
Mathata promotes Tsonga,Venda and Sepedi speakers and was filmed with Limpopo based actors.
The show aired last year through the public television Limpopo TV and they were calls by several individuals to have this program transmit on SABC 2 but instead you got Cape Town TV meaning the request didn't go through.
