Truth Seeking Questions: Why Did Openview Become Indianview And What To Observe About The Offering On eExtra? + Upcoming Shows For eReality

Openview: "Where did we go wrong?
"

Telenovelas has always been present on this platform. It wasn't as prominent as it appears to be before most of them were repeats from DStv ranging from Telemundo, Azteca TV and Globo.

Now it seems like the main focus is to incorporate content that can be uploaded to eVOD as seen with those Indian series on eExtra. Aside from that, eMedia doesn't want to acknowledged as a DStv+.

The Indian offering continues its domination on eExtra but there's reasons why they haven't parted ways as yet. Aside from having a loyal fanbase there's not much alternatives.

The matter regarding Telemundo and Azteca have been cleared but with Globo the reasons go deeper. M-Net provided funds to get Brazilian shows in English and just like K-TV viewers found other alternatives.

In the end, what option is left for them aside from Korean and Turkish shows. It doesn't seem like they plan to bring those DStv repeats unless they were able to add it onto eVOD.

In other news: eExtra is set to welcome three series Die Put, High Society Scandal and Vishkanya. Other rumoured titles for the channel include Bullets And Bloods and Kindred Hearts.

What to learn from eExtra's Bollywood block?

Aside from the fact that 95% of the content comes from Zee TV with the channel distributing The Heir a few days after its supplier's rival brand Zee One. The lineup has seemingly became thematic.

Similar to the other Indian channels, eExtra has given a persona to each timeslot. The first slot is for the average, the second is reserved for Zee World and the last is for the paranormal.
