eExtra is set to go off air on DStv by the end of the month meaning those who don't have access to eVOD will miss out on the bulk of content seen on the channel as other programs particularly the ones from Kuiertyd are transmitted on e.tv.
eExtra launched on the platform back in May 2017 alongside eMovies, eMovies Extra and eToonz offering a mixture of local and international content just like the main channel before transitioning to mainly telenovelas.
In all its revamps, the channel continuously won the hearts of viewers. For those with DStv particularly on the Access and Easyview package, the offering was hard to duplicate as a fragment of the channel (e.g. Zee World) was on a higher package.

All MultiChoice could do was redirect viewers to kykNET and Mzansi Magic's disciples and offer KIX and PBS Kids as a constellation.
If you want these shows you can either 1) get an Openview 2) subscribe to eVOD or 3) switch to DStv Indian as the content is ahead of eExtra and not in English. At this point, I doubt MultiChoice will ever bring them back as they seem more eager to move away from their world.
For those who choose to stick with DStv even after the removal, Zee World is your only outlet for Blue Venom Girl and Surrender In Love although they haven't been seen on the channel these two are manufactured by the parent company of Zee TV that also operate Zee One.
As discussed a couple of times here, eExtra usually airs future programs for Zee World such as Piyaa Albela and Qubool Hai so it's only a matter of time till these two surface on the channel of course I'm not expecting them too soon.

Piyaa Albela took several months to launch on Zee World while Qubool Hai took several years so again I'm not expecting them on Zee World just yet.
The only downside to them airing would be the package, MultiChoice is basically pulling a FOX Life (Access) where another channel TLNovelas (Family) launches with their content on a higher package.
Could MultiChoice actually rewrite their wrong before its too late cause KIX and kykNET just don't cut it?
