eMedia Updates: Doodsondes Moves Back To eExtra For Season 4, New Series The Mighty Ones And Lego City Debuts On The Craze Block And The Carmichael Show Is Back For A Third Season On e.tv

Doodsondes is back on the shelf

Reruns of the second season for Turkish drama Doodsondes (Yasak Elma) can be seen on eExtra at 11:30 on weekdays. It's been almost a year since we've got an update on the fourth season.

In Turkey, the series is currently on the fifth season with a sixth season on the cards.

According to sources, the series moves back to eExtra for the fourth season which is scheduled for a 2022 release. The third installment was the only one to grace e.tv's primetime slot and even performed outstandingly viewership wise.

In the new season, Halit's regaining his former power was welcomed with joy by everyone and the Argun family returned to their old order. Halit's goal is to regain Yildiz, who supported him a lot in his difficult days, and to remarry with her. However, Yildiz is confused because of Kerim and she doesn't know what to do. She has to make the right decision quickly.

Although a release date hasn't been finalized, it might take up the slot currently reserved for Wrede Stad. The resemblance between the two which is large group of individuals and family drama.

In other news, a repeat of Fatmagul is said to resurface on eExtra within the next month while a new action series Die Binnekring will debut on eVOD by the end of January.

The Toonz fam welcome a new additions to start off 2022

Although eToonz hit a dry spell during the pandemic, e.tv continues to offer a continuous slate of animation and live-action through their afternoon youth block Craze.

The brand will launch their first animated series The Mighty Ones from DreamWorks Animation joining existing shows from their lineup including Lego City Adventures, Transformers: Robots In Disguise and Care Bears: Unlock The Magic.

This fantasy comedy follows the eponymous quartet, consisting of a twig, a pebble, a leaf, and a strawberry. These unruly friends reside in the backyard of similarly unruly humans, as they try to live life to the biggest.

Even the Lego group are getting more recruits with The Lego City not be confused with Lego City Adventures. The 2017 series is not that far apart to the current version except its miniseries.

The Mighty Ones airs Mondays at 15:30 from 7 February while Lego City airs in the same timeslot from Thursday 10 February.

The Carmichaels are back for one last time

The Carmichael Show follows a fictional version of comedian Jerrod Carmichael's family, set in Charlotte, North Carolina. Family members include Jerrod's father Joe, mother Cynthia, and brother Bobby. Other characters include Jerrod's live-in girlfriend (later wife) Maxine, and Bobby's estranged wife Nekeisha.

For those who forgot, e.tv aired it 2 years ago but only the first two seasons now they'll be closing that chapter of the Carmichaels.

This series replaces Superstore on Saturdays at 19:30 from 5 February.
