Love Of My Life, eExtra's First Colombian Drama Series Launches This September

For several years, Telemundo had been gracing viewer's screens with a lineup of Spanish telenovelas Latin America, Mexico and Colombia. From 1st September, eMedia Investments is set to add Colombian drama, Love Of My Life (Devuélveme La Vida) to eExtra.

Synopsis for Love Of My Life

When the father of Mariana Azcarate, the heiress of the La Victoria cotton farm, discovers that his daughter is in love with Joaquín, an Afro day laborer, he opposes it, and makes the decision to get rid of him and the baby that is on the way. However, Joaquín survives the assassination attempt and flees to save his life. Years later, Mariana will discover that she was deceived, and that Joel, her son presumed dead in childbirth, was stolen at birth. He falls in love with Sara, Mariana's adopted daughter and new heir to the hacienda, while Joaquín, who managed to survive, has returned to exact revenge on the Azcarate family.

It starred Paula Castaño as Mariana Azcárate, Jair Romero as Joaquín Mosquera, Jairo Camargo as Alfredo Azcárate, Jefferson Quiñones as Graciliano Mosquera and Luis Gerónimo Abreu as Rogelio Benítez.

The series premiered from 16 April 2024 and concluded on 15 July 2024 after 60 episodes on Caracol Television. The broadcaster has distributed a number of shows in South Africa including Ana's Revenge (Telemundo), The Girl (Soweto TV) and Living To Love (ST Novelas).

In other developments, a rebroadcast of Impak is expected to replace Doodloopstraat once it ends on September 10 at 22:00. Meanwhile, Love Of My Life replaces the Bollywood drama Ajooni in its 14:25 timeslot from September 1st probably in an attempt to not clash with e.tv's Uzozisola - Regrets.
