MLB WORLD FINALS
The 2025 Major League Baseball (MLB) season is in full swing with all 30 teams scheduled to play 162 games across a season that culminates in the World Series in September. ESPN airs live MLB games throughout the week and over weekends.
The MLB Playoffs will start the end of September, running through the end of October.
FOOTBALL CONTINUES

AFL
The Australian Football League is the pre-eminent professional competition of Australian rules football. It was originally named the Victorian Football League and was founded in 1896 as a breakaway competition from the Victorian Football Association, with its inaugural season in 1897.
The AFL final is taking place on Saturday 27 September and will air on ESPN Africa.
NRL
The National Rugby League is a professional rugby league competition in Oceania which contains clubs from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, and New Zealand. The NRL continues in September.
The Premiership Grand Final will take place on 5 October 2025.
