What To Expect On The Soon To Be Launched Zimbabwean Entertainment Channel On DStv?

MultiChoice likely for their viewers in Zimbabwe if not the whole of Africa will soon announce the launch of a new entertainment channel which will feature a variety of local content in the reality, lifestyle, news, sports and drama series section with other programming such as kids shows there to assist.

Although a name hasn't been provided for the supposed channel. You can clearly see what content will be coming out of the channel as seen below so to rephrase from what I mentioned earlier in the week. This looks more like something you'd find on those community channels like Soweto TV and combine it with whatever other channel comes to mind.

Here's some of the content for the channel:

Style Street
Genre: Competition
Four contestants are given five minutes to shop for a specific event and compete for 'best dressed'. Points are awarded for each segment and the contestant with the most wins.

E-360/Zikuphani
Genre: Variety
We cover the hottest happenings in the local and international entertainment industry, the latest news, ground breaking and dynamic artists, interviews, reviews and music videos and a live performance each week by guest artists.

Marooro Squad
Genre: Reality

Zims Uncovered
Genre: Travel
A tour of Zimbabwe's cities, towns, growth points and suburbs bringing out the historical background, culture of the people who live there as well as how certain places become popular.

A magazine show that looks at the real estate, home decor, landscaping and designer homes.

Extra Time
Genre: Sport
Results from the weekend fixtures, log standings and upcoming matches for the week ahead will be discussed.

Lifestyle - Beauty
Genre: Lifestyle
Through a multicultural lens, the latest trends in hair, health, makeup, style and fashion are explored. The show also takes a closer routine of celebrity beauty.

Budget Bites
Genre: Cooking
Three contestants are given shopping vouchers and they have 10 minutes to buy items for a themed menu. They have a chance to show off their culinary skills - but there's a catch, they must see the selected ingredients.

We explore various issues and challenges that are being faced by the youth of Zimbabwe, these include substance abuse, unemployment, early child marriages and sexual and reproductive health.
