Novelas E, a general entertainment channel operated by StarTimes that is tailor-made for the most popular love stories had had announced the addition of a Phillippe romantic drama titled Someone To Watch Over Me, it starred Tom Rodriguez and Lovi Poe.  This inspirational drama tackles the story of a Johanna’s unwavering love for her husband TJ who is suffering from Early-onset Alzheimer's disease. She will do everything for her sick husband even allowing Irene into their lives and into their home.  The series was broadcast on GMA Network between September 6, 2016 and concluded on January 6, 2017 with a total of 90 episodes. Someone To Watch Over Me airs daily on St Novelas from 21 November. Eight years after entering the streaming market in South Africa, Showmax is gearing up for its biggest year yet. During the week, it was reported MultiChoice had begun work another TV channel likely pertaining to Soweto TV due to the latter Faith Cooking and Ladies In Heels. Prior to the channel's possible rollout, One Freestate Televisual will be allocated on the DStv platform. Last month, it was reported that MultiChoice would adding 1Free State TV currently viewed on StarSat to the DStv platform. From what we've uncovered, the channel would go live from 16 November on channel 264 sitting alongside GauTV, Tshwane TV and Mpuma Kapa TV. At this stage, we haven't got word on a package but it would more likely be accessible to all DStv packages (including Easyview) and I say this as the latter seen above had all been folded under that package alongside various religious and local news channels.
