BBC Worldwide today announced its summer season of programming at its Summer Upfront event held in Johannesburg. Exclusive to DStv viewers in South Africa, BBC Lifestyle, CBeebies, BBC Earth, BBC First and BBC Brit will be showcasing premieres of new and returning series such as the highly anticipated second series of The Great South African Bake Off and the return of pre-school animation favourite Go Jetters. Bloem’s brightest kids are set to battle it out in the upcoming Bloemfontein heat of Nickelodeon’s Genius brought to you by ABSA. Smart kids aged 11-16 from schools throughout the region will be joining in an interactive workshop at the Naval Hill Planetarium, Bloemfontein, on 21-22 September as Nickelodeon and ABSA challenge kids to get in touch with their inner geniuses.
