A month after e.tv signed a deal with Global Agency for the new Turkish telenovela Istanbullu Gelin , the show is expected to make its debut on eExtra. Die Deur Dik En Dun, the series follows the passionate love between a wealthy businessman and a poor singer struggles to survive in a battle against deep-rooted family traditions which prize power over romance. The series is also dubbed in Afrikaans alongside the latest addition Vierspel Vuurspel bringing eMedia brand to a total of 5 Afrikaans Turkish shows on air with 3 of them being exclusive series. The series was produced back in 2017 so even though it's new to the platform it's not a first run series. The first season will run an hour consisting of 51 episodes with the second being 129 episodes and third being 121 episodes. Die Deur Dik En Dun airs 6 July at 19:00 on eExtra replacing Doodsonders.

MultiChoice seems to have listed another channel on their website and this time it's NHK World Japan which launched in April on DStv in neighbouring countries.   NHK World Japan will be launched on DStv as a new lifestyle channel.
