GUNS AKIMBO
On the frst Saturday of November, TNT Africa brings its monthly TNT Original Movies special with the premiere of Daniel Radclife’s new flm: Guns Akimbo. The flm is written and directed by Jason Lei Howden (visual efects, writer, and director), who has worked on visual efects on The Hobbit flms, as well as War on The Planet of the Apes) and previously written and directed Deathgasm. Radclife leads the cast in this action-comedy thriller alongside Samara Weaving (Hollywood, Ready or Not) and Rhys Darby (Flight of the Concords, Yes Man).
Following the successful premiere of the frst TNT Original Movie, Escape from Pretoria, this time, Radclife embodies Miles, a video game developer who inadvertently becomes the next participant in a real-life deathmatch that streams online. Initially, Miles’ lifetime of running from his problems pays of as he manages to elude his frst opponent but, when his girlfriend, Nova, is kidnapped, he must fnally stop running and overcome his fears to fight for the girl he loves.
True to the genre of movies TNT has come to be known for, Guns Akimbo combines suspense, black comedy and action in this chillingly prescient sci-fi thriller.

There is nothing like a good cop movie. Cop movies have been popular for decades, giving us Hollywood’s take on the world of law enforcement. The one thing we know for sure is that the men and women in blue have a lot of work cut out for them, with danger lurking at every corner. Join TNT every Tuesday evening where we bring an action-driven double feature with premieres such as Ride Along and Chaos, among others, that features a police officer, detective, or modern-day lawman, which we either love or love to hate.
