eExtra has been the home of telenovelas and for a year overindulge their viewers with these popular stories. Now the channel will be introducing two new telenovelas to strengthen the lineup, Bepannah, Piya Naam Ka Diya and Begeertes.
Bepannah follows the lives of Aditya Hooda and Zoya Siddiqui brought together by fate through their spouses' betrayal. Aditya and Zoya's spouses Pooja Mathur and Yash Arora are found dead together in a road accident. They discover that the two were having an affair and are left shocked. Aditya channels his grief into anger while Zoya goes into denial. They receive divorce papers from Pooja and Yash that reach them late. Unable to run from the truth anymore, Zoya attempts suicide but is saved by Aditya. The show aired on Colors TV back in 2018.
Starring: Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget
Piya Naam Ka Diya follows the life of hardworking and kind, Naila runs her own sewing workshop. She shares her home with her brother and her sister-in-law. Her sister-in-law’s brother Babar’s frequent visits to their house lead to him developing a special interest in Naila. Before anything can happen between them, Naila. The show aired on Geo TV last year.
Starring: Saniya Shamshad and Yashma Gill
Begeertes (Siyah Beyaz Aşk) tells the story of Asli, an uptight and kind-hearted doctor who is an orphan living in Istanbul with her police brother, and gets entangled in a kind-of-mafia situation. In order to live, she has to marry the lead enforcer of that mafia, named Ferhat, a cold-blooded killer with a wounded past. What happens when the woman who saves lives is captured by the man who takes them?(no details on whether it's also dubbed in Afrikaans)

These shows will join eMedia Investments November lineup of telenovelas including Deur Dun En Dik, Elif, Qubool Hai 3, Morena and Naagin 2.
Bepannah airs Monday 9 November at 16:00 replacing Maid in Manhattan while Piya Naam Ka Diya airs at 17:45 and will take up Madhubala's place on the channel with Begeertes taking up Vierspel Vuurspel's 20:55 timeslot from Monday 23 November.
