Kuiertyd Has A Korean Drama Living Amongst Them

Remakes or adaptations are the common in the entertainment industry while some go after properties that date back to 1980s others explore the 7 sevens and in this case we have As Die Skoen Pas (Kiralim Ask).

The 2015 romantic comedy As Die Skoen Pas starring starring Barış Arduç (Voëlvry) and Elçin Sangu (Impak) debuted back in 2020 on the Kuiertyd block on eExtra and 2 years later on e.tv.

Something that some platforms such as Wikipedia even sites like Insidus failed to mention was that the beloved drama was actually a rip-off to the Korean drama, Can Love Become Money?.

The plot is revolves on a woman trying to get this cold CEO to fall for and marry her. Again this is exactly what happened on the series As Die Skoen Pas instead of Elçin Sangu taking up the female lead you have Uhm Ji Won while Yeon Jung Hoon takes up the male role.

From all the years I've watched television I realised that everyone has different preferences on what's seen on screen. Take for instance, Ugly Betty most people don't realise that the series was derived from the telenovela channel and those that do would still prefer the version from ABC.

In the end, I don't despise the series for being a rip-off there's plenty of old content that was popular around the 80s that can't be seen on TV and this type of series are used as a gateway to keep the magic alive.
