Soweto TV is getting in on the action

Since the start of COVID better yet a few months prior to that several community channels such as Cape Town TV and Mpuma Kapa TV have begun producing their own local dramas and this seems to be a permanent thing despite their budget.

Soweto TV has begun filming a new series Se Lebale Maikano of course not much details is available on the show except for the trailer which has a release date attached.

 

Se Lebale Maikano will air Thursdays at 19:00 from April 7th. Also launching a local drama in the month of April is Cape Town TV with Mahata.

FreeMe Wildlife Coming Soon To People's Weather

FreeMe Wildlife is a non-profit organisation that rescues and rehabilitates injured and abandoned indigenous wildlife. They are not only about the animals but about people who believe in bringing peace to the ecosystem and its inhabitants.

 

The organisation partnered up with People's Weather on a new documentary series where they showcase the everyday lives of people and the animals which they rescued.

The new series airs at 18:30 from Monday 28 March.

Transplant returns to Universal

Transplant follows Dr. Bashir "Bash" Hamed (Hamza Haq), a Syrian Civil War refugee and a newest resident at York Memorial Hospital, as he navigates through numerous obstacles to resume a career in the high stakes world of emergency medicine.

In the season 2 premiere, Bash's life is upended when he is reunited with a woman from his past which triggers unwanted memories for the surgeon and Mag faces some challenges of her own with the new boss.

Transplant starts April 4th on Universal likely in the 8pm timeslot.
