Toonami To Be Replaced By Warner TV Next In France, Channel Might Go Dark In Africa Alongside TNT

Warner Bros. Discovery announces the September 4 launch of Warner TV Next, Toonami's new brand identity. Intended primarily for a target audience of 25/49 year olds, Warner TV Next relies on the successful formula of Toonami, the first of the “new generation” channels.

Warner TV Next builds on the legacy of iconic studio Warner Bros., a studio celebrating its centenary throughout 2023. The Warner brand, synonymous with quality, boldness and innovation comes as a landmark for viewers since it is known by 4 out of 5 French people.

Visually, Warner TV Next affirms its affiliation with a Warner TV, the group's series and cinema channel through a new logo developed in-house.

The brand also deploys modern communication codes with very pop culture packaging and graphic codes, based on the emblematic Warner Bros. logo. Warner TV Next, like Warner TV, is marketed by FranceTV Publicité.

Warner TV Next is strong in programming that brings together all DC Comics fans thanks to the best animated series and films from the DC universe (Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Young Justice), Japanese animation (DragonBall Super, My Hero Academia) as well as wrestling with, exclusively, the AEW league.

Warner TV Next also offers Adult Swim programs, the mark of all audacity, with animated series and fiction for millennials such as Rick and Morty, Robot Chicken, Royal Crackers, The Eric André Show or Primal.

In other developments, Boomerang in the Middle East and North Africa will rebrand to Cartoonito on the same day Warner TV Next is launched. Similar to Cartoonito Africa, both brands will be offering the same content and only recieve a new coat of paint.

Interesting to note, Warner Bros. Discovery pulled the same scenario with TNT when it replaced TCM in 2018 in Africa. Now the channel airs a lot of modern age films some of which haven't been viewed on low tiered film channels and is home to wrestling promotion, AEW.

It currently ranks as the most watched movie channel in the South African market pulling at least 10 million households. As for Toonami, Warner Bros. Discovery has been very discreet in regards to performance and new content which puts it in precarious position.

Unlike France, Toonami was a 24 DC animation channel rehashing anime like Dragonball Super from Cartoon Network alongside other content like Justice League, Green Lantern, Teen Titans and Batman I mean not even Harley Quinn despite its rebrand in 2021.

It wouldn't seem far fetched if some changes awaited the channel and part of this had to with Warner TV. Our theory is that Toonami is dissolved with further content being divided between Cartoon Network, Boing and TNT.

The French team of Toonami also handled the channel in Africa so it's demise is inevitable.

Another brand whose future comes into question is TNT, Warner TV has been phasing out the brand across European territories in the general entertainment aspect. Warner TV could be something Warner Bros. Discovery explores for the market at some point.

TNT Africa’s Paper Spiders Spotlights: Mental Health Awareness

TNT Original Movie, Paper Spiders,  premiered on TNT Africa (DStv Channel 137) last Sunday, 14 May, at 20:00 CAT – with an important message about mental health.

In the film, recently-widowed Dawn experiences growing anxiety as her daughter Melanie plans to move away for college. An argument with a hostile new neighbour aggravates Dawn's mental condition, and she begins to show signs of paranoid delusions. Determined to help her mom, Melanie attempts a series of interventions, but challenging Dawn's real feelings of persecution threatens to destroy their loving relationship. Melanie is forced to make the toughest choices as she struggles to support her mother on the path to recovery and healing — a bittersweet story about coming of age in the shadow of mental illness.

“TNT Africa is joining the battle to raise awareness of and remove the stigma around mental health challenges,” says Guillaume Le Gros, Director, Programming and Acquisitions, WBD GE Networks France and Africa. “Films are at their most powerful when they hold a mirror up to real life – and it’s the everyday challenges of life that test our resilience and mental health.”

The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) fields as many as 3 000 calls per day and 2 800 WhatsApp messages a month from people asking for help or trying to understand how to help a loved one living with mental illness. “The last few years have provided plenty of tests for humanity’s mental and physical health, and we want people to know that it’s ok to share their challenges,” adds Le Gros. “Simply sharing them with someone can help them find a glimmer of hope or help them get effective, positive treatment.”

Paper Spiders is part of the TNT Original Movie series launched in 2020, spanning a wide range of mainstream entertainment genres and featuring renowned international casts. It stars Lili Taylor (Mystic Pizza & Say Anything); Stefania Owen (‘Puddle Kadubic’ in the television series Running Wilde and Dorrit Bradshaw in the teen drama television series The Carrie Diaries; Ian Nelson (The Boy Next Door, The Hunger Games & The Best Of Me) and Peyton List (‘Holly Hills’ in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series).

If you or someone you know is in need of help or just wants to talk to someone, contact SADAG by calling 0800 567 567 0800 567 567 (24-hour toll-free helpline), texting 31393 or visiting www.sadag.org.

The global centennial campaign, 'Celebrating Every Story', commemorates Warner Bros. Studio's 100th anniversary. RUMOUR: Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America Dives Into The World Of Soap Operas With TNT Novelas

Turner Network Television, Inc., a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery, registered a new trademark derived from TNT in Latin America, for the moment only in Argentina and Chile, as verified by INPI and INAPI, industrial property institutes for both countries, respectively.

The new trademark registered in recent days bears the name of "TNT Novelas", and it is unknown exactly what it is, although the company has already presented a logo.

One of the most logical theories indicates that TNT Novelas could become a successor or a relaunch of the current cable channel TNT Series, launched in 2015, which in recent years has incorporated multiple soap operas into its daily programming. The creation of a new channel is not ruled out either, although there is no basis to support this hypothesis.

There is no official information regarding TNT Novelas at the moment.

In other developments, Warner Bros. Discovery has been phasing out the TNT brand name across Europe in the general entertainment category. Not sure where that leaves the current TNT Africa but for now we assume the channel will remain intact in the market.

Warner Bros. Discovery kicked off its global centennial campaign in January, under the banner Celebrating Every Story, in advance of Warner Bros. Studios 100th Anniversary on April 4, 2023. Several of their channels have been joining the festivity with a lineup of content.

Recap To The Past Month: TNT Rebranding Into Warner TV??? As Warner Bros. Discovery Africa Leaves A Trail Of Bread Crumbs

Last month, it was announced that Warner TV will be rolling out in more European countries with Italy expected to rollout the channel as a pay-tv brand while Spain joins Germany, Romania and Poland in folding it under the TNT brand name.

TNT is general entertainment channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery that is tailor made for contemporary and Hollywood blockbuster films in the African market. It features content that is action-driven, pulse-raising with a mixture of romantic gems and hilarious comedy.

As seen these past months, the brand's YouTube channel is more of a wasteland but the last video kicks of the campaign, "Celebrating Every Story". Of which, Warner Bros. Discovery has been using to rollout the premium entertainment brand, Warner TV.

Fast forward to Facebook, their last noted post to date celebrates Lethal Weapon with the hashtag #WB100. All of which indicate the presence of Warner TV in the African market.

As mentioned in the press release by Warner Bros Discovery in Spain:

Warner Bros. Discovery officially kicked off its global centennial campaign in January, under the banner Celebrating Every Story, in advance of Warner Bros. Studios 100th Anniversary on April 4, 2023. Throughout this year, around this exceptional birthday, activities and events will be held around the world, to which the brands that make up the Warner Bros. Discovery group will join. The launch of Warner TV in Spain is part of the special actions to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the prestigious Warner Bros. studio.

From what is seen this month on the channel it's basically repeats you have the trilogy of Mad Max alongside other films like Lethal Weapon, Suicide Squad and The Fugitive. So is it safe to say that the channel is only incorporating these WB repeats as they gear up for Warner TV.

Boomerang made several changes to their lineup before news of a 24 hour service of Cartoonito. It wouldn't be far fetched if the reasons these repeats are surfacing more frequently than usual had to with Warner TV.

Warner TV is set to be a premium brand so it won't be entirely repeats or from what this press statement suggests but an alternative to the likes of Universal, BBC Brit, BBC UKTV and Me. Of course, it hasn't been confirmed yet if the channel would be airing series.

Most of the TNT feeds alongside films had series added to the lineup but with the alignment being inevitable it's very much possible that the channel will be airing more content outside of AEW and films perhaps even Adult Swim and Toonami's catalogue will be viewed here.

Rumour: TNT Is Being Discontinued As A General Entertainment Brand Across Africa

By the end of March, several Boomerang feeds across Europe will replaced by Cartoonito. A new preschool destination offering fun, imaginative and entertaining content with shows like Batwheels, Interstellar Ella and Bugs Bunny Builders.

As mentioned last month, Boomerang might not be the only feed to get supplemented by another brand later in the year even the likes of TNT is said to be phased out for a more modern brand, Warner TV.

According to a press release in Spain, TNT is being discontinued as a general entertainment brand across Europe, with Spain set to rebrand the channel to Warner TV from April 14. Joining regions such as Poland, Latin America and Romania.

This was kind of expected after the UK announced the relaunch of TNT but as a sports channel something Warner Bros. Discovery wants to incorporate globally.

Of course, Warner Bros. Discovery in Africa remains silent about the upcoming developments on TNT and their silence further boosts speculation of a possible rebrand. TNT is also celebrating 100 years of Warner Bros. as the above-mentioned regions for Warner TV.

The only thing I'm curious about with this new brand name is how it will be any different from TNT. Cause honestly I can see them continuing to reserve it as a movie brand as we got more modern films and less TCM these past months with Venom and Suicide Squad.

But most Warner TV's are seen airing made for TV series so chances are we could get something similar if not the usual films and wrestling. The channel is male oriented, perhaps a selection of Adult Swim would make much sense at this point.

My hunch is that TNT Africa will probably rebrand in April or May. My guess on why Warner Bros. Discovery has yet to talk about the channel has to do with the upcoming rollout of Cartoonito. They want to put more emphasis on that and by next month or so focus on TNT.

Press Release: TNT To Become Warner TV In Spain As Part Of Global Celebration Of Warner Bros. Studios 100th Anniversary

Under the slogan "Pure entertainment", Warner TV will offer a wide range of internationally successful film and series programming, which includes an extensive catalog of reference titles from the prestigious Warner Bros. Studio.

The brand, under the slogan "Pure entertainment", will offer a wide range of internationally successful film and series programming, which includes an extensive catalog of reference titles from the prestigious Warner Bros. studio. The new channel is thus aligned with the Warner TV channels in Europe, already present in France, Italy and Germany.

The new brand will take the place of TNT and, therefore, Warner TV will be present in the main pay television operators maintaining the same dials: Movistar Plus+ (dial 35), Vodafone TV (dial 30), Orange TV (dial 17) , Euskaltel (dial 16), R (dial 22), Telecable (dial 9), Virgin Telco (dial 20), Tivify (dial 16) and through Agile TV (dial 24).

For this reason, its programming will be made up of prestigious series, already present on TNT, such as The Rookie, FBI and FBI: International, accompanied by comedies that have become television classics such as Friends, Big Bang or Ghosts. The best Warner Bros. cinema will occupy a privileged place on the channel: it will be the home of the DC Universe with titles such as Joker, Shazam!, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Justice League or Suicide Squad, along with sagas from the Warner Bros. studio .turned into contemporary classics like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts, Ocean's and Christopher Nolan's Batman and Blade trilogies. To this commitment to quality entertainment, Warner TV will add the premiere on linear pay television of various local and international productions from the Warner Bros. Discovery group. The first of these will be the premiere of Nadie sabe nada, an original program with Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero, which has become a benchmark for humor since its birth as a radio program and podcast.

Special Programming
The weekend of the launch, the channel starts with a luxury programming. On Friday, April 14, Warner TV opens with one of DC's most powerful titles: Joker, the film directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix, winner of two Oscars and nominated for eleven statuettes.

On Saturday, April 15, the channel will celebrate the centenary of Warner Bros. in style with the broadcast, throughout the day, of emblematic titles of the studio such as Blade, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, A star is born, The Bodyguard or Wonder Woman, among many others.

To complete the commitment, on the afternoon of Sunday, April 16, Warner TV will premiere in Spain Expedition: Back to the Future, an exciting program of four one-hour episodes produced by Warner Bros. Discovery that will be broadcast as a marathon. A series that will make us live an epic journey in search of DeLorean cars at the hands of Josh Gates and Christopher Lloyd, in which we will visit the most iconic locations in Hollywood where the legendary Back to the Future trilogy was filmed. After the premiere, we will be able to see another of the DC jewels: Aquaman, with an outstanding Jason Momoa playing the king of the underwater nation of Atlantis.

Added to this powerful offer of the linear channel is its Warner TV Now service, which offers 800 episodes of on-demand content made up of Warner TV's reference series, a wide catalog of fiction from Warner Bros. Discovery and original productions from the group such as I don't like driving -which won three Feroz awards in its 2023 edition, including the best comedy series of the year-, Maricón perdido, El gran sarao, Vota Juan and Vamos Juan.

Insidus Games: Little Nicky Is Raising Hell In This Gameboy Adaptation Of Classic Adam Sandler Movie

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the game deploys the same plot Satans to appoint a new ruler in Hell. However, nobody meets his high standards, so the dark prince must remain atop Hell's throne. The game comes with 18+ levels with minigames inbetween every round.

Review: The designs can be unbearable but honestly the outtake of the game is impressive as you conjure up spirits and explore new places. I mean you don't get a lot of games with Adam Sandler and the only one out there bombs due to the movie.

TNT Vs. DStv Movies: Another Example Of MultiChoice's Failed Attempts At Cutting Back On Repeats

TNT is general entertainment channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery that offers mainly films and also the home to wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling. It is also ranked as the most popular movie channel in South Africa reaching 10 million households.

It also makes itself an easier target for MultiChoice if they want to scale back on the volume of redundancy seen across their movie brands. Even after the attempted removal of eMovies and eMovies Extra, not much has changed in the content recieved.

If there's one thing I can agree on, TNT has got a lot of potential and for several years has proven to be a worthy opponent to the likes of M-Net Movies and Studio Universal. But so much has changed in the world that you got to wonder if MultiChoice sees value for money.

To be honest, TNT kind of resembles eMovies in a way as they were very much popular and also snatched films that the lower tiered M-Net Movies channels took longer in sourcing with some never making it to the channels giving MultiChoice more reasons to pull the plug.

To some it would probably be seen as MultiChoice's way of reducing the competition but if you're one with AddMovies you could see where they'd be getting at in eliminating the channel as there's a lot of content aside from AEW that viewers had already explored.

If you tune into well scripted but low budget Movie Room, M-Net Movies 4-in-1 channel Studio Universal and the Kung Fu oriented KIX all that put together kind of makes TNT I swear most if not all the films are already available on other channels just not All Elite Wrestling.

Considering that this is the only liable source for movies on Easyview not that joke called CineMagic. It makes sense for MultiChoice to source a replacement for these consumers if not improve the offering on the other liable source, CineMagic.

Recap To The Past And Present: Is TNT Africa The Next Channel To Exit The African Market On DStv, GOtv And StarSat??? As Warner Bros. Discovery Appears To Be Repositioning The Brand

During the week, Warner Bros. Discovery announced the introduction of TNT Sports in the UK basically their outlet to premium based sports. There is Premier League, WWE, Olympic Games, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and Premiership Rugby.

In an interview it was outlined that TNT Sports fits into their focus on running a global business. The channel has already established its presence in Latin America and since 2023 the main TNT channel in the U.S. had bolstered it's offering following the bloodshed of original programming.

TNT comes in the form of a movie brand in the African market pulling close to 10 million households following the addition of TNT Hits featuring blockbusters like Venom, Suicide Squad and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. It is also home to All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Since 2021, Warner Bros. Discovery has been using an intermediary brand Warner TV for most if not all their content in parts of Europe with questions about a potential duplication in the African market remaining as quo in the time of these events.

Prior to the rollout of TNT Sports, Warner Bros. Discovery unveiled the Cartoonito Channel for the African market and through a virtual presentation it was confirmed that the decision to convert the channel had partially to do with the developments in other territories.

Warner Bros. Discovery:
Boomerang to exit the African market from next month
Prediction: DMAX launches as a free-to-air channel in the African market
Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney spending more on original content

Before we even got official word on Cartoonito, Warner Bros. Discovery remained silent on further attractions for Boomerang and even converted several shows from the brand to Cartoonito and shifted it's schedule on a monthly basis.

As for TNT, Warner Bros. Discovery has shared several details about upcoming attractions for the second quarter of 2023 for all their brands ranging from Discovery Channel to Cartoonito but for some reason TNT is the only channel they have yet to release.

TNT has been performing well in the region and after attending that virtual event Warner Bros. Discovery seems more committed in keeping these channels open for fans as opposed to The Walt Disney Company's plans to end the lifespan of their brands.

Warner TV has been getting a lot of attention across their platforms in other countries and if this happens to be the name they opt for the channel. It will be very much different to the versions seen in other countries as Warner has deals put in place for their content.

New Channel Alert: TNT To Get A Dedicated Sports Channel In The UK

The U.K. and Ireland sports joint venture of Warner Bros. Discovery and telecom giant BT Group has unveiled TNT Sports as the name for the premium sports brand that it will launch later this year to bring together the partners’ collection of sports rights under one service.

The unveiling of the new brand name is “another important step towards the launch of a simpler and even more compelling offering for sports fans in the U.K. and Ireland,” said Andrew Georgiou, board member of the joint venture and president and managing Director, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe. “The TNT Sports name is already synonymous with premium live sport in a number of countries around the world and a further sign of the global scale and expertise that Warner Bros. Discovery brings to its partnership with BT.”

Marc Allera, CEO BT consumer division and chairman of the joint venture, said: “We’re delighted with the progress being made on the joint venture. This change marks the next logical step for BT Sport, as well as the broader transformation of our consumer business. Once launched this will become a hugely exciting new premium sports offering for customers in the U.K. and Ireland.”

Warner Bros. Discovery:
Boomerang to exit the African market from next month
Prediction: DMAX launches as a free-to-air channel in the African market
Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney spending more on original content

The TNT Sports brand wants to reflect “the fan-first approach for which BT Sport has become renowned,” but “the name already has a strong association with premium live sport in other territories and under Warner Bros. Discovery’s family of brands,” the venture partners said. “This includes being home to top-level domestic and European football in a number of countries in Latin America, while live sport has been a longtime staple on the TNT network in the U.S, including the NBA, NHL and NCAA.”

Talking to reporters on Tuesday, Allera emphasized one key goal of the rebranding process. “The thing we want to ensure is minimal customer disruption and maximum excitement,” he said.

Georgiou told reporters about the key thoughts behind the decision to go with the TNT Sports name. “The new brand has to honor the essence of what BT Sport and Eurosport have built in this market,” he explained. “BT Sport in particular, because it has content which is more broadly engaging to the audience here, it has got a broader content proposition. They speak to a large number of local consumers and making sure we don’t lose that was the number one priority. The second part is the brand has to be flexible enough to capture both portfolios. It has to signify an expansion and…change. And the third criterion was that it has to be local. So making sure that there was a clean slate, if you like, for what this is was an important part of the decision-making process.”

For Warner Bros. Discovery, the TNT Sports brand fits into its focus on running a global business. “We are a global content and entertainment business, and we are, through the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, thinking about our business globally and what global scale, strength and capability can bring.” Georgiou also mentioned: “We think there is some value in having global consistency around a sports brand that is synonymous with sports, and premium sports in particular.”

Sports Entertainment:

- SuperSport Schools coming soon to DStv

Bringing together two content portfolios, TNT Sports will “provide one of the most extensive lineups of live sports coverage for fans in the U.K. and Ireland, including the Olympic Games, the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, UFC, Boxing, WWE, tennis Grand Slams, cycling Grand Tours and the winter sports season,” the partners said.

“The clean slate promises to simplify the overall sports experience for fans in the long term,” PP Foresight analyst Paolo Pescatore said about the branding update. But he noted the “numerous challenges in the short term of managing a multi-brand strategy, which the new joint venture is fully aware of and will need to navigate carefully.”

Could TNT Be Undergoing Another Rebrand Or Possible Cancellation As Boomerang Exits The African Market By The End Of March?

During the week, it was reported Boomerang would go dark by end of March for Cartoonito. A fully fledged preschool destination offering fun, creative and engaging content for viewers and their families while as incorporating the Boomerang DNA.

The news was long expected since it's arrival in the United States. As a ray of original animation is set to rollout on Cartoonito including Batwheels, Bugs Bunny Builders and Tom And Jerry Time alongside former Boomerang shows Lucas The Spider and Mush Mush And The Mushables.

Now the attention points towards TNT, as mentioned by sources before AT&T acquired WarnerMedia. It was revealed that Warner in general was planning to phase out the Turner brand as it was deemed outdated with TCM being the only left of Turner.

As far as sources are concerned, the Turner brand is still alive in some parts of the world but are mostly used to air leverage content from HBO Max or just like TCM they opt to air older programming while licensing some content.

Warner Bros. Discovery:
- Boomerang to exit the African market from next month
- Prediction: DMAX launches as a free-to-air channel in the African market
- Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney spending more on original content
- HBO Max and Discovery+ not merging after all

While others like Poland and Romania had their TNTs extinguished for more original brand, Warner TV. It's basically a mashup of HBO and Adult Swim and I'm not counting my luck that something like this could be the future of TNT across Africa.

TNT was more of a general entertainment channel in these regions same as the United States and Africa once had such channel but most of the audience might not realise or better yet TNT once offered series and wasn't a movie channel infused with wrestling.

DStv:
CBS Reality is the only brand to retain its identity in the UK from Paramount and AMC International
Warner Bros. Discovery hinting at a possible rebrand to Boomerang as more preschool content fills the lineup
MultiChoice shares crytpic message about eMedia's 4 channels
BBC to close linear channels and move to an internet only digital future

If Warner TV had to be something that was set to take over the TNT brand name. I can see them make it more Adult Swim and Toonami type with the rest of TNT's current line-up forming part of this new offering.

For several months, TNT has been bringing a lot of edgier films like Suicide Squad, Bad Boys For Life, Venom and Men In Black International all of this is male oriented which is what Adult Swim and Toonami currently serve to their audience.

Future of Turner is uncertain about TCM, I wouldn't be shocked if TNT were discontinued solely because of the brand name and nothing came to its place unless Toonami was repositioned as seen in France with elites like AEW and Adult Swim.

Filling In The Blanks, What To Expect On TNT And Possibly Cartoon Network Africa In March 2023? (Drafted Version)

TNT:

Last year, the channel hosted a segment known as TNT Original Movies offering fresh and well crafted masterpieces like Hero Mode, Escape From Pretoria and Gun Akimbo. Fast forward to 2023, it never existed instead we have cinema based films like Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, Suicide Squad and in March, Venom.

The following stunts are also anticipated to rollout within the month:

- And The Winner Is - it looks like competition to see which film is better modern Mad Max or the original film Suicide Squad.
- TNT Hit - likely a replacement to TNT Original Movies with the film Venom.
- Never Give Up - Blood Diamond and a yet to be confirmed film joins the lineup.

DStv Flex:
- Virtual Reality offers a new opportunity for African filmmakers
Ratings for DStv from December 2022
Big Cat Sunday this February on National Geographic Wild
CBS Reality acquired rights to Killer's Caught On Camera

Cartoon Network:

Taking to account this is a school holiday and most channels don't tend to be productive. Unlike most channels Cartoon Network struggled to be the least bit unproductive over the years but fast forward to 2023 things have changed. Could it have something to do with the much anticipated rollout of Cartoonito Channel well the blanks on the channel imply that.

We Baby Bears - New Episodes

We Bare Bears: The Movie

Brick Flicks Week
A LEGO based stunt offering films from various D.C. Superheroes including Batman, The Flash, Justice League and D.C. Superhero Girls.

Teen Titans GO! Vs Teen Titans

Regular Nick:
- Cartoonito to get a dedicated channel in France
Da Vinci Kids plans co-viewing future
PBS Kids has yet to rollout the new logo in other countries
Disney renews 3 adult animated series through 2025

Boomerang (possibly Cartoonito):

As advised, no plans have been shared for the channel ahead of time as seen with TNT and Cartoon Network. Considering there was not much fresh content left outside of Cartoonito my guess is shows like Looney Tunes Cartoons and Zig & Sharko will transmit on Cartoon Network should the theory of the brand be proven to be true.

Boomerang Africa Also Rumoured To Be Replaced With Cartoonito By Early 2023

During the week, it was reported Warner Bros. Discovery in France would be rolling out a dedicated preschool channel, Cartoonito which currently runs a programming block on various Cartoon Network and Boomerang channels.

Prior to that, some parts of Europe have already confirmed the distribution of Cartoonito by March with Warner Bros. Discovery in Africa remaining silent with the recent developments that have been seen across the world.

For several months, Cartoonito has been increasing its stake on the channel while as Boomerang continues funneling their schedule with more preschool based shows like The Adventures Of Little Penguin and Legend Of Spark.

Insidus Games:
Buzz Lightyear Star Command
Pink Panther: Pinkadelic Pursuit
Spider-Man Toxic City
Baby Felix Halloween

It was no later than late January where the lineup of both Cartoonito and Boomerang collided when Masha And The Bear and Grizzy And The Lemmings were slotted in the programming block while as being made available outside of the block.

It further boosted speculation for the Cartoonito Channel's presence in the African market as shows like the above-mentioned alongside Batwheels and Interstellar Ella were all confirmed to rollout on Boomerang later in the year.

In a recent press siting where visuals are provided for brands like TNT, Cartoon Network and Boomerang. Several posters came in Looney Tunes Cartoons and Thomas And Friends both of which are now labelled as Cartoonito.

Take to account, programming blocks are only labelled under their respective brand which in this case happens to be Boomerang as seen previously.

If this happens to be accurate, it means Cartoonito might have a chance to rollout no later than March as seen in Central Eastern Europe which consists of Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Romania and several others or April like France as the material in question is for this month.

The sources in charge of providing visuals also took the time to unveil details regarding upcoming attractions for TNT and Cartoon Network but remain silent on anything regarding Boomerang as the recent sitings now label the brand's recent batch of content Cartoonito.
