MultiChoice and M-Net is launching another new kykNET channel, kykNET Lekker, on 9 March 2020 which will be an Afrikaans TV channel compiled with shows from the existing kykNET library for DStv Access subscribers. kykNET Lekker that will run on channel 148 on DStv will be compiled out of the best of kykNET programmes, including soaps, lifestyle shows, children’s entertainment and music shows that DStv subscribers on the DStv Access package haven't had the opportunity to see. According to sources, SA Youth TV is set to debut later in June (youth month) on DStv even though there's no official confirmation from either MultiChoice, SA Youth TV or its founder EDK Media. The subscription and advert funded television channel has been working around the clock to get the brand up and running since then they have been going around schools, churches and colleges across the province. From February, they were building their subcommittees as they begin their activation across the province.
