Korean entertainment powerhouse CJ ENM has entered into a strategic partnership with leading Japanese animation studio Toei Animation as it continues to expand its global footprint. Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate across both their libraries and team to create new product including television series, films and animation. The tie-up will also allow both to tap each other’s regional markets. CJ ENM is is Korea’s foremost film and television studio, cable operator and music producer. Cyberchase follows the adventures of three Earth children as they're brought into Cyberspace, a digital universe where they have to protect the world from the villain Hacker. These kids are able to prevent Hacker from taking over Cyberspace by means of problem-solving skills in conjunction with basic math, environmental science, and wellness. In Cyberspace, they meet Digit, a "cybird" who helps them on their missions. Cyberchase made its debut on the defunct channel Kidsco through their Syfy block. Kidsco was operated as a joint venture between NBC Universal and Corus Entertainment. Kidsco has been dead for the past 7 years with very little to none their programming being transmitted through other brands.
