Edmond Dantès, a handsome, promising young sailor, skillfully docks the three-masted French ship, the Pharaon, in Marseilles after its captain died en route home. As a reward, Dantès is promised a captainship, but before he can claim his new post and be married to his fiancée, Mercédès', a conspiracy of four jealous and unsavory men arrange for him to be seized and secretly imprisoned in solitary confinement in the infamous Chateau d'If, a prison from which no one has ever escaped. The four men responsible are:   1. Fernand Mondego, who is jealous of Mercédès' love for Dantès; 2. Danglars, the purser of the Pharaon, who covets Dantès' promised captainship; 3. Caderousse, an unprincipled neighbor; and 4. Villefort, a prosecutor who knows that Dantès is carrying a letter addressed to Villefort's father; the old man is a Bonapartist who would probably be imprisoned by the present royalist regime were it not for his son's, Villefort's, influence. Donkey Hodie to get a second season PBS Kids has greenlit Season 2 of Donkey Hodie , a puppet series inspired by characters from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. MultiChoice was scheduled to remove e.tv's 4 additional channels currently seen on the DStv platform earlier this month with their fate hanging on a cliff for another 2 months as MultiChoice sources more channels. Recently, MultiChoice registered an untitled Afrikaans channel which was revealed to be an extra Via channel likely for their Access customers as all the content hits the restart button on the supposed station. Although MultiChoice won't say anything, the idea of them pawning this brand should they remove eExtra by the end of May doesn't seem far fetched at this point.   Why this channel might replace eExtra? In March, MultiChoice put up a termination notice redirecting viewers to several other channels currently seen on their platforms and eExtra's alternatives were Mzansi Wethu and kykNET - local channels. Further replacements were announced but none of them were for eExtra.   kykNET and Via are kind of niche compared to eExtra as they'

360 Sport is one of South Africa's leading live streaming companies that specialise in streaming sports for event owners whose content is not on major networks like SuperSport which can be deemed expensive. 360 Sport ran a TV show on the defunct News And Sport channel on the Openview platform which went off air earlier in the month with further sports programming added onto eReality and the newly launched Xposed.   Of course, 360 Sport wasn't present in the lineup likely due to this new distribution agreement with eMedia Investments which sees several content from the brand such as Simola Hillclub, Battle Of The Warriors and National Blackball Federation. 360 Sport joins Microblast TV as one of the few channels that can't be viewed on the Openview platform. eMedia Investments is competing with other brands such as Showmax, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, VIU and the soon-to-be-launched Disney+. It only seems logical for the brand not put all their eggs in one basket.
