Warner Bros. Discovery executives are close to formalizing a new name and platform for its soon-to-be-launched streaming service that will combine the preexisting HBO Max and Discovery+ services. The merged platform’s expected name, “Max,” is being vetted by the company’s lawyers, according to people familiar with the matter. Executives haven’t finalized a decision and the name could still be changed, but Max is the likely choice, said the people, who asked not to be named because the discussions are private. Some senior executives are still debating a final name, said two of the people. Internally, Warner Bros. Discovery has given the new service a code name of “BEAM” while a final name is being debated, said the people. Lawyers are vetting other names, as well. Prediction: eToonz To Get An Additional Channel

A prediction is a statement of what you think will happen in future. eToonz is South Africa's only free-to-air children's channel operated by eMedia Investments that is currently packaged on both Openview and DStv. It's also home to various animation and live-action shows such as Peppa Pig, Lego Ninjago, Barbie and Power Rangers. As some could recall, there was a time where eToonz appeared more like DreamWorks in format as the schedule was filled with a lot of preschool friendly shows for some reason. At the time, I think there was more variety and it wasn't always e.tv scraps. eToonz Schedule Explained

Image
From 2013-2019, eToonz was viewed as a destination for 2-6 year olds as e.tv's youth block Craze didn't have a lot of preteen animation at the time and most of the live-action was excluded from the channel. Razia Sultana - The First Woman Sultanate Of India

Image
Razia Sultana was the first woman Sultanate of India, and ruled the court of Delhi from the end of 1236 to 1240. The only ever woman to do so, she defied all odds to occupy the throne, including overcoming conflicts over her gender and her slave ancestry. During her reign, she proved her mettle as a just and capable ruler, and was renowned for her subversive actions, which varied from sporting men’s attire to printing coins in her own name and image. In 1205, Razia Sultan was born into the household of Shams-us-din Iltutmish as his only daughter. Although he had entered Delhi as a slave worker under Qutb-ud-din, he had impressed the ruler with his efficiency, and had been appointed as a provincial governor. Iltutmish sought to impart these same qualities to all his children, including Razia, and ensured they were all well educated and trained in archery, martial arts, and administration. New Series Alert: Kuiertyd Premium Possibly Shelved On eExtra As Channel Loads Up On New Show, Die Vertroueling

Image
Kuiertyd Premium launched last year in an attempt to boost primetime on eExtra with shows like Impak and Kruispad . Just like the Afrikaans movie block, it appears as if Kuiertyd Premium has silently been scrapped as the timeslot is being allocated for the 21:30 series, Die Put. If I had to guess the reason for the changes, it probably has something to do with the viewership, I'm not saying these two mentioned shows performed poorly but my hunch is that the weekday offering had more viewers and they want to keep the shows close. What better way to end of Kuiertyd Premium then with a series that doesn't broadcast during the daytime like #DisComplicated, Elif and Verdeelde Liefde. In the end, it's probably best as eVOD will have more time to build their slate of Turkish shows. The channel in question eExtra had launched their first non-Kuiertyd show Sisterhood. So in some way you could say that would be sought out as a weekend replacement unless that too is being shelv
