CBS Reality, the factual entertainment channel, has commissioned Emporium Productions to produce a new Donal MacIntyre-fronted true crime original series, “Donal MacIntyre’s Killer Evidence”. Renowned investigative journalist and criminologist MacIntyre returns and will host this 10×60’ series to demonstrate through 10 UK and US cases, that forensics will always uncover the ‘killer evidence’ which brings murderers to justice. The Grand National will be shown by 30 broadcasters around the globe, including on ITV in the UK. Other broadcasters secured by HBA Media and Racecourse Media Group for the race include OTT sports streaming platform Fancode showing all three days of the Grand National Festival in India, Viaplay (pan Europe), Setanta (Balkans and Eurasia), Polsat (Poland) and WeDoTV (Germany, Switzerland, Austria). Türkiye's public broadcaster TRT launched its new digital news platform TRT Africa, on the sidelines of a broadcasting summit in Istanbul. The multilingual platform aims to provide an accurate image of the continent according to TRT. Its launch follows Türkiye’s intense diplomacy to gain a foothold in Africa through humane diplomacy contrasting with the West’s exploitative approach. The platform is the latest addition to TRT’s growing foreign language channels and digital platforms that includes TRT World, Russian, Deutsch, Arabic and Français. TRT Africa will broadcast news in English, French, Swahili and Hausa. A few years ago, Nick Jr. rolled out a dedicated preschool block on Nicktoons featuring shows such as Paw Patrol, Dora The Explorer, Blaze And The Monster Machine and Peppa Pig. Initially serving as a 4 hour block at launch was halved over the years. We believe the viewership for the channel plummeted as most of their demographic view brands like Cartoon Network and DreamWorks and the other having to make the channel look almost identical to Nick Jr. and limiting the amount of older kids programming. Of course, there's a lot of complications with the Nick brands across Africa. Nickelodeon Africa is accessible even on rival platforms while in South Africa the brand is viewed as a premium channel same goes for Nick Jr. but with Nicktoons it's where the rolls have been reserved. Last year, MultiChoice and eMedia Investments were like cats and dogs in regard to the carriage of eExtra, eToonz, eMovies, eMovies Extra. One minute, they're there the next minute is gone and now they're back again. First, they're associates now rivals now they're allies. As advised, these channels aren't permanent they were suppose to be off after 6 months and already past that all 4 remain on the platform. In a media enquiry, eMedia Investments mentions these channels will remain onboard while as MultiChoice considers them temporary. As for the channels in general, we feel eExtra deserves the most amount at redemption. All the other channels continue to borrow their lineup from other DStv channels and while eExtra offers something unique 50% of the time it has built a fanbase through Kuiertyd. In 2022, AMC International and Paramount Global announced the halting of CBS tier in the UK within that year as they were reviewing their offering for viewers of that region and opted to retain CBS Reality while the others well don't wrap their finger around CBS. You Are The One (Contigo Sí) follows a young woman who was decieved by a man who later becomes her husband who she caught marrying another woman. Life gives her a second chance where she meets a man who later becomes her protector. Based on the 1978 Mexican telenovela Viviana, You Are The One debuted back in 2021 on Las Estrellas with a total of 120 minutes each consisting of 45 minutes. The longest any show has gone in this decade.
