Switching Times AGAIN!!! eExtra Kills Primetime At 18:30 With Daily Repeats Of Yosef As Sout Van Die Aarde Moves To 17:30

After e.tv decided to move Kelders Van Geheime from 19:00 to 18:00 during the month. The broadcaster has announced that Sout Van Die Aarde would be moved to 17:30 on eExtra from 29 April as Yosef takes its current timeslot at 18:30.

Not long ago, Sout Van Die Aarde had it's repeat broadcasts removed from e.tv due to the rollout of eVOD's new addition, Maanligsprokie.

Viewers who are probably not at their homes during these times for Yosef but arrived to see Sout Van Die Aarde will now miss out on daily episodes. Then there's Yosef in which viewers are probably lost on the plot as they couldn't see its broadcast on e.tv.

We can only assume that eMedia Investments after some rationalising saw the division they created for Yosef. With it's broadcasts being so close together, you're dividing the viewers and adding Sout Van Die Aarde is only going to complicate matters.

There's a reason Bollywood shows air in the daytime on eExtra with Turkish shows on e.tv. So they do not clash as such friction would harm the viewership it's the reason e.tv News is at 18:30 as it's being hammered by Amalanga Awafani on SABC 1.

Prior to e.tv News, this slot was initially reserved for the channel's local dramas like Durban Gen and Nikiwe but the timeslot proved to be troublesome for its local endeavours.
