Don’t miss the fantastic blockbuster titles TCM has lined up every Friday night of the month. Big screen successes take over the TCM screen, with the premieres of sparkling movie gems such as Blood Diamond and Public Enemies. Travel across continents from England to Australia where sophisticated, fancy city ways meet plainspoken cowboy gibberish, where cattle driving becomes a mission, cultures clash and in the middle of it all – a half Aboriginal boy. Drama continues in a multiple-personality film filled with heart-felt drama and flashy action taken to the brim with explosions. On 27 April, TCM joins South Africans across the country as they celebrate Freedom Day and commemorate the first post-apartheid elections held on this day in 1994. With a show reel of big blockbuster movies planned from morning to night, and with something for everyone to enjoy, this is the perfect day for you, your family and your friends to get comfortable in front of the TV. TCM has lined up the perfect movie to celebrate Freedom Day, with the screening of Hollywood’s iconic movie focusing on South Africa’s freedom: Invictus. Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Morgan Freeman in the role of President Nelson Mandela, Invictus will be airing at 20:00.
