Dear Colleagues,
This year has been the most challenging for our channel, but it has certainly been the most thrilling year for our viewers, who were spoilt for choice with our rich and diverse content. The steps we take today, will define the character of our country for many years to come. I have enormous pride in what we have accomplished as we continue to transform Moja Love into one of the most loved channels in South Africa.
Working as a team and supporting each other, particularly during the ongoing challenges of the pandemic, has illustrated the strength of the Moja Love family and their mentality. As a channel, we have never been short of ambition. We've never been satisfied with the status quo and we will continue with our vision - empowering and creating more positive memories for our viewers.
Your resilience and creativity has ensured our businesses continue to perform at the highest level. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your hardwork and dedication. I am confident that we will enter the new year, strongly positioned, renewed in spirit and determination, and prepared for more progress and success.
It is not easy to match the creativity standards of the women at Moja Love, from Head of the Channel, Bokani Moyo to Executive producers Shoki Langa, Livhuwani Dagadi, Bongi Ndaba, Hlengiwe Ndela, Lindiwe Klaaste Media and the producers Thato Nawe, Nthati Molefe, Julia Machete, Hermina Mathlong, Nolwazi Hlatswayo to Shuga Motlanthe. These women are intelligent, creative, brave and above everything, they are disciplined and dedicated. Experiencing the culture of work ethics and thinking out of the box always fuels me to take the Moja Love to an even greater heights. Our late chair the lovely Dr Vuyo Mahlati may her soul rest in peace used to say "halala halala halala".
As a team, we educate and entertain, but more importantly, enrich the lives of our people by telling the stories that reflect the rich diversity of our country. We continue to pursue our goal of being Mzansi's best producer of media content, spreading the message of peace, love, kindness and appreciation while holding true to our values and commitment to change for the better, including our support for those who are vulnerable.
Many of our shows from Dlozilam, Lenyalo Le Thata, You Promised To Marry Me, Mamazala, AmaBishop, Mina Nawe, Uyaphuza, Umdeni, Isencane Lengane, Uyajola 99, Housemaids, Ostofoza, Rea Tsotella, Uthando Noxolo, Skipha Amafiles and Single Mingle are among Mzansi's best performing and loved programs. We produce compelling TV programs that captures the viewers' mind, educate and inspire them.
We are stronger because of everyone's dedication. I am very grateful for your efforts and very proud of the team's performance.
I urge you to continue and keep the creative fires burning. Nothing has or will serve us better than the exceptional creativity that comes from our talented teams, from the crew, finance, sales and marketing, post-production, covid marshals, security, drivers, presenters, cast members and everyone else involved in the creative process.
My sincere best wishes to you and your families for the holidays. Merry Christmas and a Prosperous new year.
