Possibly On Autopilot: Nicktoons UK Has Been Reduced To Just 3 Shows From November

For several months, Nicktoons has been reduced to what appears to be waste as Paramount seems to have isolated the channel from reality by funneling the schedule with several cancelled shows such as Lego City Adventures, Horrid Henry and The Casagrandes.

NickMusic seems to be the only active as mentioned but having it on a brand such as Nicktoons seems to wreak of embarassment seeing as the channel has become the Disney XD of 2022 - redundant, out of tune and currently clinging onto life support.

But it seems as if that may not be the only Nicktoons to seem obsolete at this point apparently our neighbours in the UK & Ireland are undergoing a similar procedure with the brand.

In September, the channel was temporarily known as Nick SpongeBob consisting of shows SpongeBob SquarePants and The Patrick Star with Nick Horrid Henry to follow during the month of October now in November it returns to "normal viewing".

It was reported that another pop-up channel consisting of The Loud House and Horrid Henry was scheduled for a November release but was inevitably scrapped as the channel was said to return to normal viewing but there's nothing normal about it all.

From November, 3 of the regions most popular shows SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House and Horrid Henry will air as follows:

06:00 - 12:00 The Loud House
12:00 - 17:00 SpongeBob SquarePants
17:00 - 18:00 The Loud House
18:00 - 20:00 Horrid Henry
20:00 - 06:00 SpongeBob SquarePants

For those who aren't familiar with this format, Paramount often used Nicktoons and Nick Jr. (as seen earlier this month) as pop-ups for a while now but not all regions were fortunate to bask in those festivities.

During the year, Paramount opted to become a distributor for several of Nickelodeon's series and movies and with that in mind scrapped the Asian feed of Nickelodeon while as Canada which once offered a digital service with Corus Entertainment also got the boot.

Nicktoons in the UK possibly joining this pack wouldn't be far fetched a stretch I mean the region had already lost several channels from Lifetime to Disney XD and FOX all of which were for streamlining endeavours and it's not like the channel had much original/first run content.

Interesting to note is the African feed was likely based off the UK and Latin America for their use of Horrid Henry and NickMusic. I mean why else would Nickelodeon pick up the series to begin with and NickMusic replaced Nicktoons while here it's a half hour series - coincidence.
