Major Programming Changes Coming Soon To Zee World

During this past week, Zee TV made headlines after The Vow abruptly scrapped for the malnourished This Is Fate (Kundali Bhagya) which serves as the second instalment to Twist Of Fate (Kumkum Bhagya) and the troubles don't stop there as more consumers on Zee World will now have to brace for the following:

1. A rebroadcast to the second season of Twist Of Fate will air at 3pm immediately after the first season comes to an end.

2. Just like The Vow on Zee One, Age Is Just A Number will suffer the same fate as it's cancelled after 26 episodes for another rebroadcast, Gangaa.

 

3. My Heart Knows and I Do go on production break. Unlike the first two, My Heart Knows will be supplemented by new series, Every Girl's Dream while Luck In My Fate now titled Unfortunate Love replaces I Do.

4. What Women Want goes international as Zee World acquired rights to the former Glow TV series with Revati Priya. It airs every Saturday at 12pm on Zee World and every Friday at 5.30pm on Zee One.

 

5. Meet In Love will remain on the same timeslot but five days a week as a new variety show Dance Naija Dance which serves as a spin-off to Dance Africa launches from 6 August every weekend at 7pm CAT.

6. The Baker's Table and Grand Trunk Rasoi which were previously seen on Zee One will also be added to Zee World.

New Series Alert: Every Girl's Dream Coming Soon To Zee World

Zee World, the world's first English dubbed Indian entertainment channel curated for Africa home to various Bollywood movies, series, reality and variety shows will soon be rolling out a new drama titled Every Girl's Dream.

Every Girl's Dream (Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na) which was launched in November 2021 on Zee TV revolves around Krisha a hospitality graduate, trying best to prove herself and help her family financially by working at her father's friends' royal hotel in Udaipur. It was there where she meets her Prince Charming, Devraj.

 

Anjali Tatrari and Avinesh Rekhi played the lead with other stars like Leenesh Mattoo, Romil Chaudhary, Simran Sharma, Rakshanda Khan, Farah Lakhani, Utkarsha Naik, Leena Balodi, Karuna Verma, Aashish Bhardwaj serve as supporting characters.

The show was produced by Dome Of Entertainment's very own Mohomed Morani, Mazhar Nadiadwala and Anil Jha who've worked on several past shows and movies respectively such as Arjun and Kumkum.

Every Girl's Dream is said to rollout in the coming months as a replacement to the oversaturated My Heart Knows which goes on production break.

Cleopatra is coming to DreamWorks

DreamWorks Channel has begun stacking their lineup with more modern shows and making themselves look less like an eToonz double with Dragons: Rescue Riders, 3-2-1 Penguins, Casper Scare School and the upcoming addition to the family, Cleopatra In Space.

Cleopatra in Space is a comedic adventure focusing on the untold story of Cleopatra’s teenage years. Viewers can follow Cleo as she is transported 30,000 years into the future, to an Egyptian-themed planet that is ruled by talking cats and where she discovers she is the prophesied savior of the future world. In order to prepare for her role and mission, Cleo is sent to an elite academy where she has to train to take on the bad guys, figure out how to eventually get herself back home to Egypt, as well as tackling the highs and lows of being a teenager in high school.

In case anyone was wondering what happened to all the foodie shows on Zee World it was previously seen on Zee One but good news for consumers is Grand Truck Rasoi and The Baker's Table will be made available to South Africa's #1 telenovela channel.

Zibonele FM remains on DStv

Residents of Khayelitsha and listers of Radio Zibonele protested outside Icasa offices in Century City after Icasa informed them of shutting down the station on Wednesday. The station failed to renew its license since 2018 and were given seven days to shut down.

“We bring you bad news today as the board solely because we want to ensure that we work together with Icasa in resolving this issue,” they explained to listeners.

Listeners were told that they will continue to broadcast on DStv boutique and online as these platforms do not require a licence from Icasa.

Teen Titans GO! returns for more adventures

Teen Titans Go! Season 8 has been renewed for Season 8 by Cartoon Network. The original television series, named Teen Titans ran from 2003 to 2006. The eighth season will bring characters like Beard Hunter and King Shark, and many others. The upcoming season will make a new record, as 'Teen Titans Go!' will be the longest-running animated series in DC history. Fans will see Teen Titans Go! cross its 400 episodes.

Die Put renewed for second season

Doodsondes will be returning to e.tv for the fourth season when Droomvelore concludes in August. Also in the lineup for the month will be a new game show Die Kontrak and a brand new season of Die Put on eExtra.

In season 2, When the Koçovalı Family left Çukur, a formation that called themselves Karakuzular suddenly occupied the derelict Çukur. This group, led by Çeto and Mahsun, makes Çukur even more uncanny than it really is. They commit a massacre at the wedding of Celasun and Akşın, in the village house where Vartolu left to start a new life, in the coffeehouse where İdris, Emmi, and Paşa wanted to build a new pit. Nedret Koçovalı, Acar Koçovalı, Muhittin, and Paşa died as a result of these massacres.

Twist Of Fate's third spinoff arrives to Zee World

After months and months of waiting on the third instalment to the popular drama Twist Of Fate, Luck In My Fate. The series will finally make a debut on the channel under the title Unfortunate Love making it the first series to avoid the "Fate" brand.

Unfortunate Love tells the story of a small-town girl who will believe in dreams and love. She gets married to a young billionaire and her hopes will be shattered when she will learn that their marriage is part of a deal between their families.

Aishwarya Khare and Rohit Suchanti take on the lead roles of Lakshmi Rishi Oberoi (née Bajwa) and Rishi Oberoi. Other supporting characters include Munira Kudrati as Shalini “Shalu” Bajwa, Aman Gandhi as Ayushmann “Ayush” Chopra and Maera Mishra as Malishka Bedi.

The series is said to replace I Do when it goes on production break in the coming months.
