According to Alex premiering on BET (DStv channel 129), is a docu-series that focuses on Alex Martin Dean, the
daughter of Whoopi Goldberg and Alvin Martin, and her three children - now in their teens and 20s. This docu-series shows Alex’s journey as she reinvents herself
personally and professionally with the help of her husband, Bernard, and their best friends, Leisa (the daughter of Hill Street Blues actor Lee Weaver) and Ron.
When her eldest daughter, Amara, decides to move back home - with her fiancé and new baby in tow – suddenly, three generations will be living under one roof and Alex and Leisa’s plans may have to be take a back seat.
