Superb series The Lodge, starring talented young actress Sophie Simnett, reaches its season one finale this month on Disney Channel. Premiere episodes air on weekends at 09:25 CAT until Sunday 16th April.
After the loss of her mother, 15-year-old Skye returns with her father to North Star Lodge, the family-owned country hotel where her mother was raised years ago. Eager to make a fresh start, Skye forges friendships with the locals who live and work at the lodge, but when she learns her father is planning to sell the place that holds so many treasured memories, she is determined to find a way to change his mind. Now, she must lean on her newfound friends to help, although all may not be as it seems.
In the season finale episode The Choice (Sunday 16th April at 09:25 CAT) Josh arrives to get Skye to focus on the concert. A crowd has gathered to watch it but Olivia tries to stop it happening. Skye must choose between Sean and Ben.

Emma's father is fired as Headmaster, leading to health problems for Emma that take her away from her dream, her friends, and boyfriend Christian. The album they were to record is jeopardized, but when things start going in the right direction a mysterious internet artist appears, altering the balance of the group.

The adventures of teenage princess Elena of Avalor continue on Disney Channel this month, with premiere episodes on Saturdays from 29th April at 08:35 CAT.
Elena has saved her magical kingdom, Avalor, from an evil sorceress and must now learn to rule as its crown princess. Elena's adventures lead her to understand that her new role requires thoughtfulness, resilience and compassion, the traits of all truly great leaders.
In this month’s first episode, entitled Navidad (Saturday 29th April at 08:35 CAT), Elena brings the communities of Avalor together to share each other's holiday traditions. When Doña Paloma’s scheme results in everyone trying to outdo each other, Elena reminds them of the true spirit of Christmas.

The High School Musical movies were worldwide hits, and made their stars household names. Now fans can remind themselves of these great films as all three air on Fridays in April on Disney Channel.
On Friday 7th April at 16:35 CAT the film that started it all, box office blockbuster High School Musical, airs on the channel. This is followed on Friday 14th April at 16:35 CAT by the first sequel High School Musical 2, and finally on Friday 21st April at 16:35 by High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
It’s a fabulous feast of toe-tapping music – superb songs, dazzling dance routines and romantic adventures. The three High School Musical films air on consecutive Fridays 7th, 14th and 21st April at 16:35 CAT.
ECO CLUB

This month there are further new episodes of our delightful ecological programme Eco Club every Saturday at 06:50 CAT.
These are set in a unique and beautiful part of South Africa, at Phinda Game Reserve and surrounds in Kwa-Zulu Natal, an area that offers many diverse and beautiful landscapes. Each episode will introduce the project, the school and a child who attends Eco Club.
On World Earth Day, 22 April, episodes of Eco Club will also be aired in a stack from 12:20 CAT – 14:30 CAT in between episodes of Bunk’d

Popular food-based show Disney Cookabout reaches its season finale this month, with two more episodes on Saturdays 1st and 8th April at 10:15 CAT.
Disney Cookabout is a cookery game-show in which five young people learn the basics of cookery and travel all over the Western Cape to discover the processes that go into putting food into the shops.
