More Info On Disney+ Announced During Investor Day

Today, the Walt Disney Company hosted its “Investor Day” event, which is focused on the Company’s direct-to-consumer streaming services including the upcoming Disney+.
Throughout the event, new info has surfaced from the event in addition to posting new stories on major details, trailer etc.

-Direct To Consumer will grow due to more people being connect.
-BamTech was purchased in 2017 to build Disney+ will launch globally and in the majority of countries
-ESPN+ will launch in Latin countries
-Hulu is wanting to expand outside the US
-Disney+ will be Ad Free Michael Paull hits the stage
-HotStar (India’s streaming service, which has over 300 users)
-They are having a 15 minute break
before they start on Disney+.
-Movies will be on Disney+ after they’ve been at cinemas and on home entertainment windows end. Similar to Netflix
-Will come with customized settings and individual profiles!
-All the content will be available to download while they are subscribers.
-Movies will be available in 4K!
-National Geographic will include family friendly documentaries including the Oscar winning Free Solo.
-New exclusive show, World according to Jeff Goldblum.
-Classic movies like Star Wars A New Hope and Sound of Music will be available
-New Phineas and Ferb movie coming
-Toy Story 4 spinoff short, Forky Asks A Question Coming soon
-The app will be different on devices such as smart tv’s and app.
-They have Roku and PS4 confirmed and are planning on getting on as many devices as possible.

INTERNATIONAL ROLL OUT
-North America is in Quarter 1 of Fiscal year of 2020,
-Western Europe in Quarter 1/Quarter 2 of Fiscal year 2020
-Eastern Europe is later Asia-Pacific will be out throughout 2 years
-Latin America will be Q1 in Fiscal year 2021

MORE DETAILS
-Disney+ will be on show at Star Wars Celebration, SDCC and D23 Expo Existing contracts and technical issues will slow down world launch
-Big advertising campaign planned Frozen 2 will be on Disney+ in summer 2020.
-Documentary series on the behind the scenes of making Frozen 2 is coming to Disney+
-All Pixar films will be available on Disney+ the first year of launch.
-Incredibles 2 and Coco will be available within the first year, but have to finish their run on Netflix.
-Pixar shorts will all be available on Disney+
-Lamp Life will be a new Toy Story short about Bo Peep’s life between Toy Story 2 and 4.
-Captain Marvel will be available on
day 1 and is exclusive Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany star as Wanda Maximoff and The Vision in a new Disney+ series, WandaVision.
-Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are teaming up in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
-What If series confirmed, one story is What if Peggy Carter became Captain America
-Loki series
-Star Wars Original and prequel movies will be there on day 1
-Solo and Last Jedi will come along later.
-K2SO will be returning for the new Cassian Andor Star Wars show
-The Mandalorian will be available on Day 1 of Disney+
-The Mandalorian will have 8 episodes

NEW DISNEY+ EXCLUSIVE MOVIES
-Noelle and Timmy Failure are being shown to those in attendance.
-Toto and Stargirl will also be available on Disney+ in year one
-Lady & The Tramp will be available at launch
-Over 250 hours of National Geographic content will be on Disney+ at launch
-New “Magic Of Animal Kingdom” exclusive Disney+ show will be a documentary behind the scenes at the Animal Kingdom theme park in Walt Disney World.
-5,000 episodes of Disney Channel content and 100 Disney Channel Original Movies will stream on Disney+ at launch.

-Disney+ will be the exclusive home to everything family friendly from Disney once existing deals expire.
-The Simpsons will be on Disney+
-November 12th launch in the US $6.99 a month or annual pass for $69.99.
-They are expecting a third of subscribers to be in the US, two thirds outside the US.

-They want to roll out Internationally but they aren’t going into details on dates.
-They want to focus on the US launch first.

SADLY AFRICA MAY HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2022 TO GET DISNEY+
