OpenView Unexpectedly Dumps BBC World News And Adds France24 In Its Place

BBC World News is the 1st victim from the eMedia platform to get the chop on OpenView without no explanation from e.tv or better yet any notice for their loyal viewers.
BBC World News lasted about two years and 7 months on the OpenView platform with the cheap France24 taking up it's space on channel 121.

France 24 is a French state-owned international news television network based in Paris. Its channels broadcast in French, English, Arabic, and Spanish and are aimed at the overseas market, similar to BBC World News, DW, RT and TRT World.

The channel ran as a programming block on e.tv News and Sports channels before becoming a full-length channel on the platform unexpectedly.

There's no reason behind the sudden removal of BBC World News. It's more likely due to costs and with the pandemic around a lot of businesses have been cutting back so this might be one of them.

OpenView now joins DStv which suffered a lot of cutbacks in the year so far only the Starsat platform is left to fill the effects of the pandemic at the moment they are on a channel spree.

As well as the conflict between Hernán Darío (Juan Pablo Urrego), and Catalina, La Pequeña (Carolina Gaitán) about Mariana's pregnancy, and the return of Martín (Juan Alfonso Baptista), who has returned to take revenge on Catalina, La Grande for having handed him over to the authorities.

What he does not know is that Baltazar Ojeda (Eduardo Santamarina), a CIA Agent, has the plan to eliminate Amado before, since he is the only one who can prove that within the organization in which both worked together, there is a scheme of corruption and murky management that endangers its existence within it and its freedom. He has already been transferred to a jail on the outskirts of the State of Mexico and is about to be taken to the airport, under strict security measures when the Casillas cartel tries to rescue him and Baltazar Ojeda himself tries to kill him. SABC Education Might Be Available In August On DStv And Possibly Starsat

SABC launched an educational channel back in May on DTT and online platforms with more platforms scheduled to add it later.

SABC Education has been seen on the test channel section through DStv channel 950 for almost two months now alongside Starsat platform where it's numbered through their website on channel 313 and available to those who carry the Max, Special and Super package.

Recently, a viewer noticed that the channel no schedule on DStv starting from the 1st of August leading that individual to believe and possibly some viewers to believe that the channel will be made available on DStv by then.

Both DStv, Starsat and SABC were asked on the status of the channel on the platforms with DStv redirecting clients to SABC, Starsat with its "stay tuned for more information" and SABC with its constant silence.

My guess would be SABC Education launches tomorrow or sometime this month on channel 314 or more likely 316 and is made available to Easyview if not all customers with Starsat adding it around the same time if not sooner.
